His Majesty spoke of the importance of having His Inspiration serve by His side, and crowned Maurya the twelfth Queen of AEthelmearc.
The achievement of County status of Rurik Longsword was recognized. Scroll by THLady Talisidhe of the Greenwood. The achievement of County status of Elspeth Turnbull was recognized, as well as her elevation to the Order of the Rose. No scroll was present. She was then welcomed by the Companions of the Order. Both were escorted from the Court by the Royal Peers of the realm.
The Landed Barons and Baronesses of the Kingdom presented themselves before the Crown to deliver oaths of fealty.
The officers of the Kingdom presented themselves before the Crown to give an oath of service.
The Royal Peers of the Kingdom presented themselves before the Crown for oaths of fealty or service.
The Companions of the Order of the Pelican were called forth and given the opportunty to offer oaths of fealty or service.
The Companions of the Order of the Laurel were called forth and given the opportunty to offer oaths of fealty or service.
The Companions of the Order of the Chivalry presented themselves before the Crown to give their fealty.
Her Grace, Duchess Dorinda Courtenay took THLady Cynthia Love of the Tower as a protege, making it known to the populace that she would ask nothing of Her Ladyship which would conflict with her duties as Kingdom Exchequer.
Their Majesties called Their Court into Their presence and gave each member a baldric to denote their service.
Her Majesty called THLord Jacopo di Nicolo before Her and named him as Captain of the Queen's Guard, and Baron Tristen Sexwulf and THLord Ciaran Faxi were installed as members of Her Guard.
The Ladies of the Rose were invited before the Crown. Her Majesty addressed the populace and informed them of the Rose Royal Tournaments. Five grand tournaments will be held at events across the Kingdom: - Sylvan Crusade (Hunter's Home), May 31 - On the Crimson Shore (Stormsport), June 28 - Hare-Raising Hounds (Delftwood), July 12 - Honor and Chivalry (St. Swithin's Bog), July 19 - Summer's End (Beau Fleuve), September 14 Members of the Order of the Rose will be sponsoring a gallery at each of these tournaments and will be there to discuss the tournaments with members of the populace who wish to attend. Those gentles who had served as King of AEthelmearc were also welcomed before the Crown to learn of the tournaments and be invited to participate in each Rose Royal Tournament, without having to complete in the preliminary qualifying tournament.
