Baronial Investiture of Robert and Isabella
Barony of Endless Hills
Being the
report for the Court of His Royal Majesty Henri, Roi
d’Æthelmearc, with Their
Excellencies, Daniel and Una, Baron and Baroness of the Barony of the
Endless
Hills in attendance. Court held on
November 1st, AS 38 (2003) at the Investiture of Robert and Isabella in
His
Barony of the Endless Hills. Giulietta
da Venezia, Reporting Herald, with
the assistance of Fridrikr Tomasson av Knusslig Hamn.
His Majesty gave
Their Excellencies, Daniel and Una, leave to conduct their Baronial
Court.
His Majesty
invited Their Excellencies, Daniel and Una, into His presence. Their Excellencies indicated their desire to
end their tenure as Baron and Baroness of the Barony of the Endless
Hills, and
asked to be released from their Oath of Fealty to the Crown. His Majesty asked whether Their Excellencies
had successors who were ready and able to assume their duties, and they
indicated that this was so.
His Majesty
welcomed Lady Kateryna Ty Ysaf, Seneschal of the Barony of the Endless
Hills,
into His Presence. Lady Kateryna
attested that there had indeed been a Baronial election, that it was
conducted
with all due propriety, and that Robert of Worcester and Isabella
Ironhands
were the successors chosen by the populace of the Barony.
His Majesty
requested the attendance of Robert of Worcester and Isabella Ironhands
so that
they could witness the Devestiture of Daniel and Una.
Their Excellencies, Daniel and Una, removed the Baronial
Coronets
from their heads and returned them to His Majesty.
His Majesty accepted the Coronets from Their Excellencies and
released them from their Oath of Fealty to the Crown.
Daniel Lightfoot
was created a Baron of His Majesty’s Court.

was created a Baroness of His Majesty’s Court.

His Majesty
instructed Robert and Isabella in the duties and responsibilities of a
Territorial Baron and Baroness, and asked whether they were willing and
able to
accept same. Robert and Isabella
agreed. His Majesty accepted Robert and
Isabella’s Oath of Fealty as Baron- and Baroness-Elect.
His Majesty then invested Robert and
Isabella as the Baron and Baroness for the Third Reign of the Barony of
the
Endless Hills, and set the Baronial Coronets upon their heads. Their Excellencies were then presented
scrolls commemorating their Investiture, each wrought by Aileanor
Russeal.
His Majesty
asked those Companions of the Order of the Millrind present to attend
Him after
Court.
The Court of His
Majesty was closed.
