Barony-Marche of the Debatable Lands


Being the report for the Morning Court of His Royal Majesty Henri, Roi d’Æthelmearc, with Their Excellencies, Alonzio and Tatyana, Baron and Baroness of the Barony-Marche of the Debatable Lands in attendance.  Court held on December 6th, AS 38 (2003) at Kriskindermart in His Barony-Marche of the Debatable Lands.  Giulietta da Venezia, Reporting Herald, with the assistance of Graidhne ni Ruaidh.
 
Master Huen Damebrygge took Lord Æryck Blackhart as his apprentice.
 
Kateline atte Well was awarded arms for her service as the Debatable Lands’ Minister of Youth, as the day’s autocrat, and for her generally helpful nature.  Scroll by THLady Talisidhe of the Greenwood.
 
Tomasia da Collevento was awarded arms for her service as cook, kitchen helper and researcher.  Scroll illuminated by Lady Gianna d’Aurelio and calligraphed by THLord Cadell Blaidd du.
 
Grettir Halfskaeg was made a Companion of the Keystone for his quiet service in setting up and cleaning up at events, for hosting workshops in his home, and for his skill at brewing.  Scroll by THLady Hrefna in heppna Thorgrimsdottir.
 
Anastasia of Rosebriar Cross was made a Companion of the Sycamore for her skill as the Debatable Lands’ dancemistress, and for her knowledge of, and teaching about, 14th century life, including headwear, makeup and perfume.  Scroll illuminated by Pavla de la Satu Mare and calligraphed by Her Excellency, Mistress Graidhne ni Ruaidh.
 
Cétach Fitzgibbon was recognized as a Grand Master Bowman, and presented a medallion commemorating his achievement.
 
His Majesty asked His Most Noble Order of the Pelican to attend him.  He directed the Order to escort Her Ladyship, Katerina Affodil, to the place where she was to receive counsel in contemplation of her elevation to that Order.
 
His Majesty asked His Most Noble Order of the Laurel to attend him.  He directed the Order to escort His Lordship, Zanetto da Como, to the place where he was to receive counsel in contemplation of his elevation to that Order.
