His Majesty gave Their Excellencies leave to hold their Baronial Court.

Much to her surprise, His Majesty called His herald before Him, and asked the populace to join him in wishing her a happy birthday, belated by two days.

His Majesty welcomed His Order of the Laurel before him.  He asked whether the Order had given counsel to Zanetto da Como, as He had directed; they agreed that they had, and that they were well pleased to welcome him among them.  His Majesty then called for the works of the armorer’s art produced by Zanetto be brought forth for all to see.  This being done, His Majesty desired to see Zanetto da Como in person.  After receiving Zanetto’s affirmative answer to the question presented in his Writ, and after hearing the counsel of Her Excellency, Mistress Genevieve du Vent Argent; Sir Reinhardt von Berchtesgaden; His Excellency, Master Will Langdon of Greymorne and His Excellency, Leonard the Younger, His Majesty acquiesced to the Order’s wishes and created Zanetto da Como a Master of the Order of the Laurel.  Scroll illuminated by S. Lovechild and calligraphed by His Excellency, Master Will Langdon of Greymorne.

His Majesty invited His Order of the Pelican before him.  He asked whether the Order had held a vigil for Katerina Affodil, as He had requested earlier that day.  They agreed that she was worthy to join their Order.  Her Ladyship, Katerina Affodil, was summoned into the Royal Presence, and asked whether she would accept this accolade.  She agreed, but indicated that she was not yet free to do so; first, she had to be released from her fealty to Mistress Amaryllis Coleman.  Accordingly, she returned the belt symbolizing their relationship to the good Mistress, who indicated her plans to make a gift of it to Katerina, so that she may in turn present it to a student.  After hearing the wise counsel of Mistress Ts’vee’a bas Tseepora Levi, His Excellency, Sir Alonzio of the Peacemakers, Her Excellency, Mistress Genevieve du Vent Argent, and Her Excellency, Mistress Aoibheil of Dun Holen, His Majesty agreed with them and the Order, and created Katerina Affodil a Mistress of the Order of the Pelican.  Scroll illuminated by Lady Gianna di Aurelio and to be calligraphed by Lady Alessandra d’Avignon.

The Court of His Majesty was closed.
