Coronation
Incipient Shire of Kings Crossing
Being
the Report of the Court of Their Royal Majesties, Rurik and
Angelik, King and Queen of Æthelmearc, with Their Excellencies,
Alonzio and
Tatyana, Baron and Baroness of the Barony-Marche of the Debatable Lands
in
attendance. Court held on September 18,
AS 39 (2004) at Their Coronation in Their Incipient Shire of Kings
Crossing. Giulietta

Reporting Herald, with the assistance of Lord Lothar Hugelmann and Lady
Sara de
Lindley, Silent Herald.
Their
Majesties proclaimed that the Office of the Sylvan Signet had that day
been transferred from Mistress Katerina Affodil to THLady Una de Saint
Luc.
Lady
Cateline atte Well and the children of Æthelmearc presented Their
Majesties crowns made by their hands.
Vrouw
Odriana vander Brugghe, with the assistance and inspiration of Her
Excellency, Patrikia Maria Agrissa Sgourina and THLord Valentine de
Peregoy,
presented His Majesty with a supply of handkerchiefs to hand out to the
weeping
populace as necessary, and a lovely wooden box in which to keep them.
His
Excellency, Sir Alonzio announced that THLord Duncan von Halstern had
proven victorious in the day’s Spear Tourney, and presented him the
Tourney
Prize.
Lady
Illadore de Bedegrayne, Queen’s Rapier Champion, announced that His
Excellency, Quinn Kerr, had proven victorious in that day’s
Championship. Their Majesties thanked Lady
Illadore for
her service, proclaimed His Excellency, Quinn the new Queen’s Rapier
Champion,
and invested him with the regalia of his new station.

The
Debatable Lands Scribal, Archaeological and Folk Art Conspiracy
presented a
set of hand-painted matryoshka dolls to His Majesty, representing Their
Majesties and His Majesty’s squires. It
was also noted that, as is proper, the Rurik matryoshka contained a
turkey
sandwich.
Konstantinos
Akropolites was made a Companion of the Silver Buccle for his
tireless service, helping in just about every capacity possible. Scroll scrivened by Her Excellency, Mistress

Zoe
Akropolitina was awarded arms for her service as retainer, tollner and

of Westover was made a Companion of the Cornelian in absentia for his

bone-crushing
skill at heavy weapons combat. Scroll

Munro was made a Companion of the Keystone for her service as Kings

hinn Svarti Juzki was made a Companion of the Keystone and awarded arms
for his service as Kings Crossing’s Exchequer as well as for his

weapons combat, as well as for his chivalry and courtesy in his patient

Majesties asked Her Excellency, Mistress Genevieve du Vent Argent to
attend Them. After praising Her
Excellency’s virtues, and speaking of the esteem in which Their
Majesties hold
her, they created Genevieve the eighteenth Jewel of Æthelmearc
and invested her
