Barony of Delftwood
Being
the Report of the Court of Their Royal Majesties, Rurik and
Angelik, King and Queen of Æthelmearc with Their Sylvan
Highnesses, Malcolm and
Tessa and His Excellency, Oeric, Baron of Delftwood in attendance. Court held on October 9, AS 39 (2004) at
Crown Tournament in Their Barony of Delftwood. Giulietta da Venezia, Reporting Herald, with
the assistance of
Lord Christopher Harper and THLady Gwendolyn the Graceful.
Their
Majesties invited the Ladies of the Rose and of the Garnet into Their
Presence. The Ladies wished to
recognize the chivalry and courtesy of two gentles that day: they presented a token of their esteem to
Lord Thorgrim Skullsplitter, and asked THLord Wulfstan Huscarl to bear
the
Shield of Chivalry.
Their
Majesties gave His Excellency leave to hold his Baronial Court.
Their
Majesties welcomed His Excellency, Master Auguste Valizan, Ambassador
of
the Kingdom of Ealdormere, into Their Presence. His
Excellency brought words of friendship and gifts from Their
Majesties, Malik and Genevieve, King and Queen of Ealdormere to Their
Majesties
of Æthelmearc.
Escorted
by Lady Petronilla Goodwin, Delftwood’s Minister of Youth, the
children present at the event gave gifts made by their hands to Their
Highnesses, Malcolm and Tessa.
Their
Excellencies, Robert and Isabella, Baron and Baroness of the Barony of
the Endless Hills presented gifts of a scroll case and etched goblets
made by
the people of their Barony for Their Majesties to give to the new King
and
Queen of Northshield at Their upcoming Coronation.
Lady
Gwenhwyvar ver Morwyn presented gifts of pouches and scroll cases made
by
her hands to Their Majesties.
Their
Majesties welcomed Mistress Honnoria of Thescorre into Their
Presence. Mistress Honnoria expressed
her appreciation for the scribes of Æthelmearc, and encouraged
others to do the
same. Their Majesties then invited
THLady George Anne into Their Presence and presented a portfolio to
her, which
was the gift of Mistress Honnoria, in appreciation of her scribal work.
Juliana
de Roeselara was awarded arms for her service as Seneschal of the
Canton
of Riverouge, for her help with demonstrations, and for creating

Sadie of Sterlynge Vayle was awarded arms for her service as Minister
of

Argante o Annwfn was awarded arms for her ten years of service to her
Barony of Endless Hills and her kingdom, and also for her skill at
archery and

archery, and for her service as exchequer and event staff.
