the Report of the Court of Their Royal Majesties, Malcolm and
Tessa, King and Queen of Æthelmearc, with Their Highnesses, Robin
and Isabeau,
Prince and Princess of Æthelmearc in attendance.
Court held on May 14, AS 40 (2005) at Spring Crown Tournament in
Their Shire of Kings Crossing.
Giulietta da Venezia, Reporting Herald with the assistance of

Kieran MacRae.
Their Majesties invited Their Highnesses into Their Presence, and
received
Their Oath of Fealty.
Their Majesties invited the Ladies of the Rose and of the Garnet into
Their
Presence. Countess Angelique
Chastellain de Beauvais, Countess Alexandra of Clan Donald and
Viscountess
Judith of Kirtland announced that they had chosen THLord Duncan von
Halstern to
bear the Shield of Chivalry. Their
Excellencies also gave tokens to Lord Thomas von Hessen in recognition
of his
exemplary courtesy.
Raif was awarded arms for his service at events, helping with setup,
cleanup
and serving in kitchens. Scroll by

Arkhelaia Vsevolozha was awarded arms for her service as a herald and
kitchen

Their Majesties invited Lady Marian O’Neill into Their Presence. Lady Marian announced that THLady Gwendolyn
the Graceful had won the day’s arts and sciences competition, and
presented her
prize.
Marian O’Neill was made a Companion of the Sycamore for her skill at
embroidery
and forher service as Kings Crossing’s Arts and Sciences Minister. Scroll by Niccola di Cristiano.
Siobhan MacDermott was awarded arms for her service at events and
demonstrations, particularly in kitchens.

Their Majesties invited Lady Kazi Enkazi, the Sylvan Bard of
Æthelmearc, into
Their Presence. Lady Kazi, appearing
somewhat infirm after her long service as Sylvan Bard, announced that a
worthy
successor had been chosen by Their Majesties, and asked Their leave to
retire. Their Majesties thanked Lady
Kazi for her service, and invested Master Michael McPhe, called
Alewright, as
the new Sylvan Bard of Æthelmearc.
Their Majesties invested THLord Georg Eisenfaust as a Member of Her
Majesty’s
Guard.
Their Majesties summoned Brocc Huntington into Their Presence. As he was not present at the event, Their
Majesties entreated him to present himself before Them as soon as
humanly
possible.
Their Majesties invited the autocrats of the event, THLady Talisidhe of
the
Greenwood and Master Creador Twinedragon, into Their Presence. The autocrats thanked Master Alastar Scott
McCrummin for going above and beyond the call of duty to prepare the
day’s
luncheon on very short notice.
Talisidhe of the Greenwood was made a Companion of the Golden Alce for
her
skill with the atlatl and for her service as thrown weapons marshal and

Creador Twinedragon was made a Companion of the Millrind for his
service at
events, and for his support and mentoring of the Shire of Kings
Crossing. Scroll by Her Excellency,

ni Ruaidh.
Their Majesties invited Sir Graedwyn mab Teyrnon into Their Presence
and presented
him the scroll created in recognition of his being made a Companion of
the
Order of Merit for Martial Authenticity, as well as one of the garnet
stones
cut by the hand of Master Jean Paul and intended as a remembrance for
the
Jewels of Æthelmearc.
