Being the Report of the Court of His Royal Majesty, Malcolm, King of Æthelmearc.  Court held on June 25, AS 40 (2005) at Jugglers, Tumblers and Bards II in His Shire of Coppertree.  His Excellency, Sir Yngvar the Dismal, Court Herald, with Giulietta da Venezia reporting.

His Grace, Sir Morghun Sheridan announced the winner of the morning tourney:  Lord Magnus Tindal.

THLady Rowena ni Dhonnchaidh presented His Majesty a gift of the day shade He had been using.

Elwyn Stone was awarded arms for her service to her Shire and Kingdom, especially as assistant Exchecquer for Coppertree and site liaison for our recent Heraldic and Scribal Symposium.  Scroll by Lady Wynn Ravenlock and Mistress Morgan Silverlock.

Finnoughla McGill was awarded arms for her service as her group’s Arts and Sciences officer, and for her tireless teaching of sewing, draping and tailoring of clothing.  Scroll by Her Excellency, Ekaterina Volkova and Her Excellency, Boudiccea Ravenhair

Gaston de Barre was made a Companion of the Golden Alce for his skill at heavy weapons combat, and for his service in teaches new fighters and helping them with armor.  Scroll by Lady Failenn de Cearsaigh.

Snaebjorn Hakonarson was awarded arms for his service as Coppertree’s Castellan and for autocratting several events.  Scroll by Lady Wynn Ravenlock.

Tangwystyl Ferch Gwyn was awarded arms for her skill at heavy weapons combat and the bardic arts, and for her general helpfulness.  Scroll by Lady Wynn Ravenlock.

Jacques Chanson d’Osier was made a Companion of the Golden Alce for his skill in heavy weapons combat.  Scroll by Sir Murdoch Bayne.

Nigel of Southwood was made a Companion of the Cornelian for his exemplary courtesy, and for the joy he brings to the populace in entertaining them with feats of slight-of-hand and magic.

Rowan de la Garnison was made a Companion of the Fleur d’Æthelmearc for her research and skill in making period dishes and spices.  Scroll by Master Jonathan Blaecstan.


The Court of His Majesty was closed.

 
After the Torchlight Tourney, His Majesty recognized Arik Coeur de Lutrer of the East Kingdom as the victor, and presented him the prize scroll.  Scroll by Lady Adelheidis Spätauf.
