Being
the Report of the Court of Their Royal Majesties, Malcolm and
Tessa, King and Queen of Æthelmearc.
Court held on August 16, AS 40 (2005) in the Oaklawn Encampment
at the
Great Pennsic War XXXIV in Their Barony-Marche of the Debatable Lands. Her Excellency, Mistress Graidhne ni Ruaidh,
herald; Giulietta da
Venezia, reporting.
Their
Majesties summoned Ariadne Flaxenhair of Dragon’s End into Their
Presence
and chided her gently for not attending Their Coronation.
They then created her a Companion of the
Sycamore, and presented her with the scroll that she would have
received had
she been there. Scroll scrivened by THLady Antoinette de la Croix,
border
limned by THLady Anna Eisenkopf, text and miniature by Her Excellency,
Mistress
Graidhne ni Ruaidh.
Their
Majesties did not feel that the Sycamore was sufficient, and thus Their
Majesties
created Ariadne Flaxenhair of Dragon’s End a Companion of the Order of
the
Fleur d’Æthelmearc and granted her arms for her research, skill
and teaching of
the arts of the forge, of smithing and smelting. Scroll

Stephen
the Devious was made a Companion of the Fleur d’Æthelmearc and
granted
arms in absentia for his research and skill in building forges and for
his
knowledge of smithing and smelting.

THLady
Ariadne Flaxenhair of Dragon’s End swore fealty to Their Majesties,
Malcolm and Tessa, promising to burn to the ground any who sought to
oppose
them.
The
Court of Their Majesties was closed, and Their Majesties sallied forth
to
lead Their army to the battlefield.
