Barony-Marche of the Debatable Lands
Being
the Report of the Court of Their Royal Majesties, Malcolm and
Tessa, King and Queen of Æthelmearc with Their Sylvan Highnesses,
Robin and
Isabeau, Prince and Princess of Æthelmearc in attendance. Court held on August 19, AS 40 (2005) on the
field at the Great Pennsic War XXXIV in Their Barony-Marche of the
Debatable

Their
Majesties called THLord Khalek Shuurag Od before Them, and inquired
whether he had sat vigil as They had directed.
They then asked to be attended by the Companions of the Most
Noble Order
of the Chivalry, who assured Their Majesties that Khalek had indeed
been
counseled, as They had directed. Their
Majesties then heard the words of Her Excellency, Mistress Sadira bint
Wassouf,
His Excellency, Master Saleem ibn Alefan ibn Iftakruddin, His
Excellency, Sir
Tristen Sexwulf, Her Excellency, Caryl Olesdatter, and His Grace, Sir
Morguhn
Sheridan, all of whom spoke of Khalek as a man of extraordinary virtues. Their Majesties asked Khalek whether he
would accept the accolade he was being offered, and upon an affirmative
answer
did received Khalek’s Oath of Fealty.
Their Majesties invested Khalek with the Ancestral Chain of the
Knights
of Æthelmearc, presented by Sir Wulfstan Huscarl; with the belt
of a knight,
assisted by His Grace, Sir Morguhn Sheridan and Lady Branwen ferch
Gwythyr; and
with a pair of spurs, assisted by His Excellency, Sir Daene Ferris and
His
Excellency, Sir Yngvar the Dismal. His
Majesty did dub Khalek thrice, as is customary, and did administer the
