Being the Report of the Court of Their Royal Majesties, Robin and Isabeau, King and Queen of Æthelmearc, with Their Excellencies, Cedric and Peregrine, Baron and Baroness of Thescorre, in attendance.  Court held on September 24, AS 40 (2005) at Their Coronation in Their Barony of Thescorre.  Giulietta da Venezia, Reporting Herald, with the assistance of THLady Matilda Bosvyle de Belle Aqua.

Their Majesties gave Their Excellencies leave to hold Their Baronial Court.

The Cadets of Æthelmearc, having noted that gentles whom Their Majesties wish to recognize are sometimes absent from Court, presented Their Majesties a device designed to ensure attendance:  a red pillory.

Their Majesties welcomed Don Christian Amaury de Launey into Their Presence.  Don Christian proclaimed His Grace, Sir Morguhn Sheridan the victor in the day’s fencing tourney.  Her Majesty then named Lord Ivan Piotrovic Pevcov the Queen’s Rapier Champion.  Both scrolls by THLady Roberta McMorland.

Their Majesties welcomed Her Excellency, Una de Saint Luc into Their Presence.  Her Excellency announced the winner of the day’s Backlog Scroll Competition.

Ash of Campbell was awarded arms in absentia for his skill in battle.  Scroll scrivened by Lord Ardal of Antioch and limned by Lady Sarra Moore.

Spyke the Unshaven was awarded arms for his general helpfulness, and for his tendency to provide for others who have forgotten essential items.  Scroll scrivened by His Excellency, Daniel Lightfoot and limned by Her Excellency, Una the Bashful.

Collette de Paris was made a Companion of the Keystone for her service as a cook and scribe.  Scroll by THLady Matilda Bosvyle de Belle Aqua.

Eldjarn the Thoghtful was made a Companion of the Keystone for his service as a chronicler, scribe and token-smith.  Scroll by Her Excellency, Mistress Daedra McBeth a Gryphon and Lady Bryn ni MacRose.

Sigvaldi Scatterbrain was made a Companion of the Keystone in absentia for his service as local castellan.  Scroll scrivened by THLady George Anne and limned by THLady Keran Roslin.

Kadlin Sigvaldiskona was made a Companion of the Keystone in absentia for her tireless promotion of the arts and sciences.  Scroll by THLady George Anne.

Alessandra Bentivegna da Faenza, called Yasmina, was made a Companion of the Sycamore for her skill at scribal arts.  Scroll scrivened by Lord Eldjarn the Thoghtful and limned by Her Excellency, Una de Saint Luc, upon a text by Her Excellency, Mistress Daedra McBeth a Gryphon.

Cradoc Mendwr was made a Companion of the Cornelian for his exemplary courtesy and gracious nature.  Scroll by Lady Collette de Paris.

Their Majesties received Their Companions of the White Scarf, who asked Her Majesty to join them, and presented Her the symbol of their Order.

Matteo Pesci was made a Companion of the White Scarf and granted arms for his prowess at rapier combat.  Scroll by Master Jonathan Blaecstan.

Their Majesties asked the Companions of the Most Noble Order of the Laurel to attend Them.  They asked the Order whether it had counseled Their proposed candidate, as directed by Their illustrious predecessors, Malcolm and Tessa.  Having received an affirmative answer, They then called forth THLady Talisidhe of the Greenwood, and asked whether she had received counsel and remained willing to accept elevation to said Order.  Their Majesties heard the words of Master Creature Twyne Dragon, Mistress Karana Yabokchi, and His Excellency, Sir Tarbold Celerius, all of whom spoke of Talisidhe’s art, service and strength.  Their Majesties then invested Talisidhe with a medallion (the gift of Mistress Aleea Bagah), wreath (the gift of Lord Ulfr), and cloak appropriate to her new station, with the assistance of Talisidhe’s lord, Malachi.  Their Majesties also allowed several gentles to make gifts of Future Apprentice Attitude Adjustment devices to Talisidhe.  They then created Talisidhe of the Greenwood a Mistress of the Order of the Laurel.  Scroll borders limned by Her Excellency, Anna Eisenkopf, miniature limned and scroll scrivened by Her Excellency, Mistress Graidhne ni Ruaidh.
