Being the Report of the Court of Their Majesties, Malcolm and Tessa,  King and Queen of Æthelmearc with the Landed Nobility of the Kingdom  of Æthelmearc in attendance.  Court held September 16, AS 41 (2006)  at the Coronation of Christopher and Morgen in Their Barony-Marche of  the Debatable Lands. Corwyn ap Nennius the Dirge was made a Companion of the Sycamore in  absentia for his skill in the bardic arts.  Scroll limned by Lord  Ardal of Antioch, scrivened and authored by Lady Sarra Moore.

Maddelina d'Angeles was given a Sigil of Æthelmearc for her service  to Their Majesties during Their Reign, most particularly for her  excellent care of Katherine, the Princess Royale.

Silence de Cherbourg was made a Companion of the Sycamore for her  skill in the bardic arts.  Scroll by Their Excellencies, Boudiccea  Ravenhair and Ekaterina Volkova.

Their Majesties invited Their Heir, Sir Christopher Rawlyns, Crown  Prince of Æthelmearc, to attend Them.  His Highness spoke of Their  Majesties' defense of the Kingdom during two wars, and of the great  service done by Them in furtherance of our Kingdom's greatness.  He  expressed His wish to take up the burden of the Crown, that Their  Majesties might retire to Their hillside estates overlooking the  Debatable Lands' three rivers, and enjoy Their well-earned rest.  Their Majesties agreed that a period of respite would be most  pleasant, but noted that They had further matters of state needing  attention. His Highness agreed to return once Their Majesties'  business had concluded.

Coletta Briant was given a Sigil of Æthelmearc for her service to  Their Majesties during Their Reign, particularly for her service as  retainer, companion, friend, and songbird.

Margaret Makafee was given a Sigil of Æthelmearc for her service to  Their Majesties during Their Reign, particularly for her assistance  with Their gift baskets for the Great Pennsic War.

Gillian Llewellyn of Ravenspur was given a Sigil of Æthelmearc for  her service to Their Majesties during Their Reign, particularly for  coordinating the Kingdom's hospitality table at the Great Pennsic War.

Their Majesties invited Aleea Baga to attend Them, and spoke of the  assistance she had rendered to Them and to the Kingdom throughout  both of Their Reigns, and of her willingness to undertake nearly any  project that came to Her Majesty's mind.  In recognition of her  efforts, drive and enthusiasm, Their Majesties created Aleea a  Baroness of Their Court.

Their Majesties invited THLord Lochlainn mac Faolain Bhain to attend  Them.  Lochlainn spoke of the skill of a young gentle who had become  the first to attain a junior Royal Round average exceeding one  hundred points, and asked Their Majesties to recognize him.  Their  Majesties then received Lucas of Gryffon's Keep as the first Junior  Grandmaster Bowman of Æthelmearc.  Scroll by Master Gwilym o'r Tair  Afon.

Fredeburg von Katzenellenbogen was made a Companion of the Golden  Alce for her skill at rapier combat.  Scroll by Ashe d'Wyntre.

Tatyana Kushina was given a Sigil of Æthelmearc for her service to  Their Majesties during Their Reign, especially for her assistance in  clothing Their Majesties.

Kateline atte Well was made a Companion of the Keystone for her  service as Chancellor of Youth for the Barony-Marche of the Debatable  Lands.  Scroll by Her Excellency, Graidhne ni Ruaidh.

The Lost Boys were given a Sigil of Æthelmearc as a group for their  service to Their Majesties during Their Reign, most particularly for  keeping Her Majesty safe during her travels through the portions of  the Great Pennsic War known to be frequented by brigands.

Phiala O'Ceallaigh was made a Companion of the Keystone for her  service to the Kingdom, most particularly for creating many medallion  cords and for teaching others the art of fingerloop braiding, that  our Kingdom might be well supplied.  Scroll scrivened by His Majesty,  Malcolm and limned by Lady Katla Ulfhedinn.

Gareth Kincaid was made a Companion of the Keystone for his service  in ensuring that Æthelmearc's army is well supplied with the  necessary armor.  Scroll drawn by Maitresse Yvianne de Castel  d'Avignon, limned by Runa Thorgrimsdottir, and scrivened by Lady  Anlaith ingen Trena.

Clewin Kupferhelbelinc was made a Companion of the Golden Alce for  his prowess at rapier combat.  Scroll by Ashe d'Wyntre.

Anna Eisenkopf was given a Sigil of Æthelmearc for her service to  Their Majesties throughout Their Reign, particularly as Their  Majesties' Chamberlain.

Master Huen Damebrygge was named Royal Baker to the Crown of  Æthelmearc in absentia in recognition of his contributions of many  delicious cookies for numerous Kingdom events, and in the hope that  he will continue to assist our Kingdom and enhance its reputation for  hospitality.  Scroll by Her Excellency, Daedra MacBeth a Gryphon.

Rosalia Iuliana Andere was given a Sigil of Æthelmearc for her  service to Their Majesties during Their Reign, especially for her  assistance in clothing Their Majesties.

Their Majesties asked Lady Gianna di Aurelio to attend Them.  They  spoke of the beauty of the scrolls Gianna makes, and of the delight  in the faces of Their Subjects when Gianna's works are displayed.  In  recognition of her skill in scribal arts, Their Majesties created  Gianna di Aurelio a Companion of the Fleur d'Æthelmearc and granted  her arms.  Scroll by Her Excellency, Aidan ni Leir.

Ailis Linne was made a Companion of the Sycamore for her research in  and skill at making Japanese clothing.  Scroll by THLord Date Saburou  Yukiie, upon a text by His Excellency, Sir Ogami Akira.

Dan MacCaulaeigh was made a Companion of the Golden Alce in absentia  for his skill in rapier combat, his willingness to teach others, and  his service as a rapier marshal.  Scroll to be forthcoming.

Their Majesties called Sir Aengus MacBain before Them, and spoke of  his great skill in the arts martial, then noted that this is not the  reason They had summoned him.  They also spoke of his prowess in the  gentler arts, and noted that They wished to recognize his  accomplishments.  They then called forth the Companions of the Most  Noble Order of the Laurel, and directed Aengus to consult with Their  Highnesses, Christopher and Morgen, to determine a time at which  Aengus would answer the question whether he would be numbered among  them.

Their Majesties summoned Bataar Sogdo into Their Presence, and spoke  of his good nature and willingness to undertake any task that was  asked of him.  In recognition of his nobility and generosity of  spirit, Their Majesties created Bataar a Baron of Their Court.

Silence de Cherbourg was made a Companion of the Keystone for her  service to the Kingdom's bardic community, most particularly for her  efforts in maintaining the College of Bards' webpage as a teaching  tool, that the populace may learn our Kingdom's songs.  Scroll  scrivened by Lady Anlaith ingen Trena and limned by Frau Osterhildis  die Nachtschwarmerin.

Maggie McKlay was awarded arms in absentia for her service at events,  most particularly for her assistance with youth activities.  Scroll  to be forthcoming.

Syrrilda MacCaulaeigh was awarded arms in absentia for her service to  the Kingdom and Their Majesties, especially for ensuring that Her  Majesty was never without a beverage, or a companion in her travels  about the Great Pennsic War.  Scroll scrivened by THLady George Anne  and limned by Lady Etain ingen Dalaig.

Sasha Gray was given a Sigil of Æthelmearc for her service to Their  Majesties during Their Reign, especially for equipping His Majesty  with proper rapier armor for the Great Pennsic War.

House Dragon's End was given a Sigil of Æthelmearc as a group for  Their Service to Their Majesties during Their Reign, most  particularly for their gracious assistance at the Great Pennsic War.

Their Majesties called forth Their Guard, thanked them for their  service, and dismissed all but His Excellency, Vladisla Nikulich.

Vladisla Nikulich was given a Sigil of Æthelmearc for his service to  Their Majesties during Their Reign, most particularly for his service  as Captain of Her Majesty's guard.

Once again, Their Majesties invited His Highness, Christopher to  attend Them.  His Highness asserted His claim to be Their Majesties'  true Heir by right of arms.  Their Majesties asked for witnesses to  attest to His Highness' claim.

Sir Magariki Katsuichi no Koredono, Earl Marshal of Æthelmearc,  attested that he had been present at Their Majesties' Crown  Tournament, that the Tournament had been properly conducted in  keeping with the laws, policies and customs of the Kingdom, and that  Sir Christopher was the right and true victor.

Her Excellency, Marguerite de la Marche, Seneschal of Æthelmearc,  attested that she also had been present at Their Majesties' Crown  Tournament, that the laws, policies and customs of the Kingdom had  been observed, and that Sir Christopher was the right and true victor.

Her Excellency, Giulietta da Venezia, Silver Buccle Principal Herald  of Æthelmearc, attested that she also had been present at Their  Majesties' Crown Tournament, that she witnessed the victory of Sir  Christopher, and that she proclaimed Him Their Majesties' right and  true Heir before Their Majesties, the populace and the entire Known  World.

His Majesty then addressed Her Majesty and thanked Her for her  service as Queen, for her care of Himself and His populace, and for  her tireless efforts on behalf of the Kingdom and its people.  He  noted that it would be most pleasant to retire with Her to their  Estates, and she agreed.  His Majesty then removed the Crown from Her  Majesty's head, and allowed her to retire.

His Highness knelt before His Majesty, who removed the Crown from His  head, received Christopher's Oath of Fealty, crowned Christopher the  nineteenth King of Æthelmearc, and retired.

Thus did the Court and Reign of Malcolm and Tessa come to an end.
