Feast of  the Seven Deadly Sins
Barony of Delftwood


Being the Report of the Court of Her Majesty, Morgen, Queen of  Æthelmearc, with Their Excellencies, Artemius and Clarice, Baron and  Baroness of Delftwood in attendance.  Court held on February 7, AS 41  (2007), at the Feast of the Seven Deadly Sins in Her Barony of  Delftwood.  Giulietta da Venezia, Reporting Herald with the  assistance of Lord Christopher Harper.

Her Majesty gave Their Excellencies leave to hold their Baronial Court.

Anastasie de Lamoure was awarded arms for her skill in leatherwork  and her service to the Barony of Delftwood.  Scroll scrivened by  Isabella Ignazius Montoya and limned by Lady Branwyn ferch Gwythyr.

Gyles de Blair was awarded arms for his skill at two things dear to  Her Majesty's heart:  music and brewing.  Scroll by Lady Siobhan of  House Thorgard.

Edward Harbinger was made a Companion of the Golden Alce and awarded  arms for his prowess at archery, and for his service to the Delftwood  archery community.  Scroll by an anonymous scribe.

Barbary Rose was made a Companion of the Sycamore for her skill in  the scribal arts.  Scroll by Lady Siobhan of House Thorgard.

Juliana Stafford was made a Companion of the Keystone for her service  to her Barony, most particularly as Seneschal of the Canton of Angels  Keep.  Scroll scrivened by Lady Siobhan of House Thorgard and limned  by Lady Alexandra of Wulfgard.

Oeric Lestrange was made a Companion of the Keystone for his service  to the Barony of Delftwood. Scroll by Signora Niccola di Cristiano.

Rhiannon the Curious was made a Companion of the Cornelian for the  exemplary courtesy she shows to all, on and off the rapier field.   Scroll featuring three fencing pussycats by Lady Vivienne of Yardley.

Robin Wallace was made a Companion of the Cornelian in absentia for  his exemplary courtesy, proving that the mightiest warrior is also  kind and gentle.  Scroll scrivened by Her Excellency, Roberta  McMorland and limned by Lady Aibell Suil-uaine, called Suilean, upon  a text by Lady Alessandra Bentivegna da Faenza, called Yasmina.

Christopher Harper was made a Companion of the Millrind and granted  arms for his service as herald for many a court and tournament, for  processing multitudes of submissions as Garnet Herald, and for  providing "Harpy's Van o'Heralds" which has conveyed hordes of  heralds to events all over our fair Kingdom.  Scroll scrivened by  Lady Sofie Davenport and limned by Her Excellency, Olivia d'Anjou and  THLady Pleasance de Coignieres, upon a text by His Excellency,  Fridrikr Tomasson av Knusslig Hamn.

Alheydis von Korckhingen was made a Companion of the Millrind for her  service as Windmill Pursuivant, for assisting many gentles in  selecting and documenting names and armory, and for processing  multitudes of submissions as Cornelian Herald.  Scroll by Lady  Collette de Paris.

Her Majesty asked His Excellency, Artemius to attend Her once more.   She noted that this had been a big day for His Excellency, and  encouraged him to share words with someone close to him.  His  Excellency thanked Her Majesty, then thanked Her Excellency, Clarice,  for the day, and presented her a cookie.  He thanked Her Excellency  for her great patience with him, and asked her to be still more  patient with him as he knelt before Her Excellency, presented her a  lovely ring and asked her to be his wife, to the surprise and delight  of Her Excellency and all those present.  Her Excellency happily  consented, whereupon the hall erupted with cheers, tears and a  standing ovation.

Thus did the Court of Her Majesty come to an end!
