Christopher and Morgen
March 4, AS 41 (2007)
Medieval Purim
Barony-Marche of the Debatable Lands

The following is the report of the Court of Their Majesties  Christopher and Morgen King and Queen of Sylvan Æthelmearc held at  the Medieval Purim event in the Barony-Marche of the Debatable Lands  on the 4th day of March anno societatis xxxxi.  Brandubh  O'Donnghaile, herald.

Their Majesties invited Mistress She'erah bat Schlomo before them.   She'erah had recently travelled to the Shire of Ma'ale Giborim in  Israel, and brought back gifts from the members of the Shire  including citron wine and salt from Mt. Sodom.

Saskia Van Ouwater was called into Their Majesties' presence and  awarded arms for her service at events and serving as A&S minister  for the Barony-Marche of the Debatable Lands.  Scroll by Lady Anlaith  ingen Trena.

The King and Queen did spy another gentle worthy of recognition and  invited Margaretha la Fauvelle to attend them.  Margaretha was  awarded arms for her musical contributions both vocal and  instrumental as well as bardic.  Scroll by Her Excellency, Rowan le  Beau.

Christopher and Morgen proclaimed the citizenship of Aine  O'Muirghesan.  By the agreement of Their cousins Lucan and Yana, King  and Queen of the East Kingdom, Aine O'Muirghesan is a citizen of the  Sylvan Kingdom of Æthelmearc.

Their Majesties did need to speak with one more gentle from the  populace and so They invited Master Emrys Eustace commonly called  Broom into Their court.  The King spoke words to Broom that They did  find him delight to the Kingdom, and though the Middle Kingdom had  made him a Master of the Laurel, he had continued to learn and teach  more and more throughout his time in Æthelmearc.  Their Majesties  could not allow him to leave this land which now bears the mark of  Broom without also leaving Their mark upon him, and so they bestowed  upon him the Æthelmearc Award of Excellence.

There being no further business, the court of Their Majesties was  closed.
