Being the Report of the Court of Their
Majesties, Rurik and Angelik, King and Queen of Æthelmearc,
with Their Highnesses, Dag and AnneMarie, Prince and Princess of
the Middle Kingdom in attendance. Court held on April 14,
AS 41 (2007), at the Coronation of Rurik and Angelik in Their
Incipient Shire of Riversedge. Giulietta da Venezia,
Reporting Herald with the assistance of THLady Matilda Bosvyle de
Belle Aqua and Lady Aibell Suil-Uaine, called Suilean.
His Majesty noted that He could not have proven victorious in
Crown Tournament, and could not properly serve the Kingdom as its
King without His inspiration by His side, whereupon he asked Her
Highness, Angelik, Princess of Æthelmearc, to attend
Him. His Majesty thanked Angelik for inspiring Him in all
of His endeavors, crowned her Queen of Æthelmearc and
received Her Oath of Fealty to the Kingdom.
Their Majesties called forth Their illustrious predecessors,
Christopher Rawlyns and Morgen of Rye, recognized the achievement
of County status of each of them, granted Morgen of Rye arms by
letters patent, and invested them with Coronets appropriate to
their new station as Earl and Countess of Æthelmearc.
Coronets by Captain John Michael Thorpe; scroll by Maitresse
Yvianne de Castel d'Avignon and Sir Ængus MacBain.
Their Majesties asked the Ladies of the Rose and of the Garnet,
and those Royal Consorts present to attend Them. With the
approval of the Ladies, Their Majesties created Morgen of Rye a
Lady of the Rose, whereupon the Ladies welcomed her into their
sisterhood, invested her with regalia appropriate to her station,
and presented gifts. Scroll scrivened by THLady Antoinette
de la Croix and limned by Lady Failenn de Cearsaigh.
Their Majesties asked Her Excellency, Morgen of Rye, to remain in
Their Presence a moment longer, as They had not quite finished
Their business with her. They spoke warmly of Their
admiration for Morgen, of the many ways in which she had inspired
Them and many others, and of certain discussions They had had
with respect to the proper means of recognizing these
qualities. Their Majesties then created Morgen of Rye the
twenty-third Jewel of Æthelmearc. Scroll by Master
Jonathan Blaecstan, upon a text by Maestra Giulietta da Venezia.
