Her Excellency then retuned her protégé belt to Mistress Cynthia Love of Tower, and retired to the hall in the custody of the Order.
At the Noon hour
Their Royal Majesties received Lady Emily of Dunvegan, Seneschal of St.Swithin's Bog, and did hear the words of the populace requesting that Quinn and Vivienne remain as their Baron and Baroness, should Their Majesties' wish it also. With the consent of all, Their Excellencies did renew Their oath to the Crown.

AEthelmearc's heavy weapons Champion, THL Hrolthger Iverson, came before Their Majesties and declared that Lord Alric of the Mists had been victorious in the day's Champion Tournament. The Sword of State was turned over to Lord Alric's keeping and he joined Their Royal Majesties court.

THL Alric of the Mists was called before Their Majesties, soon followed by the Order of the Millrind, who insisted that he be included among their number for his past service as Seneschal of St Swithin's Bog and autocrat. Their Majesties agreed heartily and made it so (scroll: Jonathan Blakeston).
Their Royal Majesties spoke of one present in the hall who had given of himself to such a great degree, over so many years, that they would be remiss if they did not take this opportunity to honor him, as he has honored AEthelmearc with his labors behind the scenes. Queen Angelik did then rise and glide to the back of the hall to bring forward this gentleman, known to all as Rummy John, and They did recognize him as a Baron of Their Court (words: Valgardr Gunnarsson, illum: Julianna Delamare, calig: Roxanne of St Luc).
Their Royal Majesties inquired of those present, who knew the origins of fencing in our society? Who knew how it came to flourish in AEthelmearc? They called before Them one who was responsible for much of the advancement of our fencing program, Baroness Rhiannon the Curious. They did speak of the many offices she has held, the many ways in she has left her mark upon the very foundation of our Kingdom. Their Majesties then gave unto her an Augmentation of Arms – the mark of the Kingdom Arms, to be borne upon her own in recognition of her dedication to AEthelmearc and Her people (scroll: Roberta McMorland and words by Lady Alessandra Bentavegna da Faenza).
Their Royal Majesties received Their most noble Order of the Laurel into Their presence. Master Brendan Brisbane rose to beg a boon, requesting that Their Majesties consider his apprentice, Baroness Una de Saint Luc for elevation to their ranks. Their Majesties agreed and delivered unto her a writ, commanding that she sit vigil, consult with members of the Peerage and give her answer at the great Pennsic War.
There was another whom Their Majesties wished to send on vigil. King Rurik did then retrieve his Sylvan Signet, THL Antoinette de la Croix, from her seat, and bringing her before the court, he commanded her also to sit vigil for the Order of the Laurel and give her answer at the Pennsic War as well.
Their Royal Majesties received Their most noble Order of the Pelican, and affirmed that it was still their wish to have the candidate in question elevated. Her Excellency Vivienne then set the scene by distributing many small cats to the retainers in the procession as Baroness Aelfra Long presented herself to Their Majesties. Her worth was attested to by Duchess Dorinda, Dame Charmaine, King Rurik, Baroness Vivienne and Mistress Cynthia. She was then adorned in a mantle and coronet of Pelicans, presented with the ancestral medallion and lineage by Baroness Arianna, and thus was Aelfra created a member of the Order of the Pelican (scroll illum: Rota, calig: Bjorn bunhauss Olafsson).
Their Royal Majesties thanked all those in attendance this day as well as those who labored to make the day's event so enjoyable for all.
A moment of silence was then observed in honor of Aethelmearc's fallen Knight, Count Bearengaer hinn Raudi.
Court was closed.
