begged
the Court’s indulgence for a moment. Noting as how he could not sit
idle on
such an auspicious occasion as the two score anniversary of the birth
of our
King, he then preceded, in rhyme as only he can, to mark such occasion,
much to
the delight of the populace and the good humored chagrin His Majesty.
The final
line of the poem revealed that it was all a gift from Her Majesty, who
then
presented her beloved husband with a kiss and a chocolate cupcake fit
for a
King. At the request of Her Majesty, everyone at Court sang to His
Majesty
wishing him a Happy Birthday.
Court was closed.
