Court report of TRM’s Khalek and Branwyn from Blackstone Raid on April 26th A.S. 42 held in the Barony of Blackstone Mountain in the presence of Their Royal cousins Luter and Tessa, King and Queen of the Middle Kingdom, Sinclair, King of Atlantia, and Their Excellencies Tomas and Rowan, Baron and Baroness of Blackstone Mountain as reported by THL Matilda Bosvyle de Bela Acqua, Silver Buccle, with the assistance of Lord Tigernach Mac Cathail.
His Majesty addressed the populace and declared that AEthelmearc’s allegiance would be with the Middle Kingdom in the coming Pennsic War.
It was announced that Their Majesties had signed a document allowing the lady known as Hilda Grettisdottis and her family to transfer their citizenship from AEthelmearc to the Middle Kingdom.
Their Majesties then presented tokens guaranteeing safe passage within AEthelmearc to Their Majesties of the Midrelm, and gifts of friendship were exchanged.
Their Majesties also provided tokens of safe passage to the Crown of Atlantia and exchanged gifts of hospitality and thanks for their support upon the melee field during the day’s raids.
Baron Tomas and Baroness Rowan of Blackstone Mountain were called before the Court to renew their oath of fealty to the Crown. Their Majesties then gave them leave to hold their court.
Baron Byron and Baroness Ariella of the Barony Marche of the Debatable Lands were called before the Court to renew their oath of fealty to the Crown. They also presented Their Majesties with gifts provided by the people of the Debatable Lands.
A small contingent of people from the Shire of Sylvan Glen came forward to express concern to Their Majesties regarding an impending invasion by foreign armies of the blue and white along the southern boarder lands. They did contend, while looking askance at His Majesty, Sinclair of Atlantia, that said invaders were intent on the thievery of the Shire’s renowned treasure. They invited Their Majesties AEthelmearc and their Excellencies of Blackstone Mountain, to assist in repelling these blue and white marauders and to protect the Sylver Apple of Sylvan Glenn at the next Siege of Glengary. Their Majesties assured the Shire contingent that They would send an army to assist the defense. His Majesty Atlantia suggested that these particular Shire members may have been imbibing in fermented beverages brewed with their own apples and declared that he would need to investigate this further and perhaps sample some himself.
Their Majesties presented an Award of Arms scroll for Lord Boden (in absentia) on behalf of Their predecessors, Rurik and Angelik (scroll by Jonathan Blaecston).
Marek Siversian Vitsdrag was Awarded Arms for his skills with wire weaving, fighting and making armor (scroll by Rota Egilsdottir).
Isibel Thorgrimskona was Awarded Arms for her helpfulness and sewing skill (scroll by Rota Egilsdottir).
Thorgrim Varghosson was Awarded Arms for his prowess on the field of combat and armoring skills (scroll by Rota Egilsdottir).
Lady Righnach inghean ui Conal was recognized as a Companion of the Order of the Keystone for her outstanding service as co-autocrat and group exchequer (scroll illum. Aibell Suil-uaine, words by Tarquin and Elsbeth Turnbull).
Juliana Ravenshaw was Awarded Arms and given into the Order of the Keystone for her service as seamstress, cook and Arts and Sciences officer (scroll illum Keren Roslin).
Lord Vincent du Guion was created a member of the Order of the Golden Alce for his fearsome displays of defense within the lists (scroll illum. Aibell Suil-uaine).
Tahira bint Khalid ibn Hasen al-Nadhi was Awarded Arms and the Order of the Keystone for her many services in regard to children’s activities and the Lists (scroll illum. Aibell Suil-uaine).
Kestral of the Gyre Falcon was Awarded Arms and inducted into the Order of the Golden Alce for his skills at fencing (scroll illum. by Rota Egilsdottir).
Their Majesties thanked the populace for turning out in such great numbers, and praised the efforts of the event staff and members of the Barony for being so gracious in providing one and all with a wonderful event.
