Their Majesties called forth Their Archery Commander, Laochlain Silverwulf, and his successor, Fintan na Coilled. The former was thanked for his 2 years of past service to AEthelmearc; the latter was invested with the responsibility of leading the Kingdom archers to battle at Pennsic.
THLord Egill the Dane, having just descended from his wagon, was called before the Court to be congratulated upon the anniversary of his birth, …and issued a writ of summons to appear before Their Majesties at Their evening Court to answer if he would accept elevation to the most noble Order of the Pelican (scroll by Vivienne of Yardley).
The people of the Shire of Abhain Ciach Ghlais presented a gift to the Princess Royal, Talia.

Livia Valentini was Awarded Arms for her service as Autocrat and hospitaler (scroll illum. By John the Artificer).
Their Excellencies of the Barony Marche of the Debatable Lands, Byron and Ariella were presented with traditional Mongolian tokens of safe passage in exchange for Their agreement to raise an army to fight for AEthelmearc in the coming Pennsic War.
Magdelena Txoperena was Awarded Arms for her skills at cooking, fighting and various arts (scroll by Gwilym o’r Tair Afon).
Ewen MacSuibhne received an Award of Arms for his skill upon the combat field and assistance in the kitchen (scroll by Isabela Montoya).
Kilian Helm was Awarded Arms (in absentia) for his work as cook, retainer and help with youth activities (scroll by Isabela Montoya).
Masayuki Nozaki received an Award of Arms for service to his group, combat and the study of blacksmithery (scroll by Gwilym o’r Tair Afon).
Master Gilles de Beauchamps begged a boon of Their Majesties that They might witness his taking of a Protégé. Brigitta of Abhain Ciach Ghlais, having agreed to the contract provided to her by Master Giles, accepted his belt. She was also gifted of a pair of sturdy gloves, as he explained there was much work to be done.
Lord Gilchrist MacNaughton was called before Their Majesties to receive the Order of the Golden Alce for his fearlessness upon the field of combat and skill with multiple weapons forms (scroll by Astraya).
Master Thorstein Christianson Ronnow was awarded the Order of the Golden Alce for his many years of heavy combat service to the Kingdom (scroll by Astraya).
Lord Mendel Wisebegere was named (in absentia) to the Order of the Keystone for his service running period gaming, feasts and as exchequer for his group (scroll by Mairghread ui Stilbhard uu Coinn).
Duke Morguhn Sheridan was the declared winner of the Kingdom Heavy Weapons Champion Tournament and graciously assumed his post to hold the Sword of State by his Majesty’s side. The former Kingdom Champion, Count Maynard von dem Steine, was saluted for his past service to the Crown.
Urhoe Waltterinen and Fintan na Coilled were each recognized with tokens of Grand Master Bowman from Their Majesties.
Baroness Aleea Baga announced the winners of the Ulric Wulfricsson Memorial Shoot for Charity, who would each receive a token of thanks for their participation and donation: Denys the Decadent for highest score, the Princess Royal Talia for youngest archer, Brad Boda for most generous and Urho Waltterinen as chosen by Ulric’s Lady, Katrina of York.
The most noble Order of the Pelican was called before the court. Mistress Graidhne ni Ruaidh spoke on behalf of the Order to confirm the candidate in question had sat vigil, received their council and begged Their Majesties to elevate him to their ranks. THLord Egill the Dane was called to attend Their Majesties while They heard the words of the Peerage. For the Order of the Laurel Master Thorstein Ronnow spoke of what Egill had taught him about nobles oblige. For the Order of Chivalry Duke Morguhn Sheridan recalled his conversations with the candidate about chivalry and cordials. Her Grace, Duchess Meirwen uerch Owein spoke of how his courtesy and hospitality has inspired her as a Lady of the Rose. Master Charles O’Connor attested that all these qualities and more were present within this man, and that he is their Peer. Thus satisfied, His Majesty asked Egill if he would accept elevation to the Order. Egill humbly replied that if it pleased Their Majesties, he would. A cloak (by THLady Cameron Fitzrory) and medallion with the symbol of the Order were presented to Master Egill along with the ancestral medallion from Master Giles (scroll illum by Aerin Teine).
Their Majesties thanked the event attendees, the autocrat, her staff and the archery marshals responsible for the challenging ranges.
