Barony of Thescorre 

Court report of TRM’s Khalek and Branwyn from Pax Interuptus on June 28th A.S. 43 held in the Barony of Thescorre in the presence of TRH’s, Christopher and Morgan, and Their Excellencies of the Barony of Thescorre, Eric and Katja, as reported by THL Matilda Bosvyle de Bela Acqua, Silver Buccle, with the assistance of THL Christopher Harper and Lord Iain Ard mac an Bhaird.

Afternoon Court.

Lord Olaf Thorvardarson was granted Arms and inducted into the Order of the Gage (scroll by Etain ingen Dalaig and Magnus Tindal). His Lordship was then greeted most heartily by his new companions at arms.

Evening Court.

Their Majesties gave leave to Their Excellencies of Thescorre to hold Their court.

Their Majesties entertained a request from the Privateers of the Rhydderich Hael, through their spokesman Baron Caleb Reynolds, for Letters of Marque giving permission unto Captains Francois Belgraunde Bladegatherer, Connor Bowsplitter and Augusto Giuseppe da San Donato to do whatever is necessary to protect the seaways of AEthelmearc from infringement and invasion, and collect appropriate taxes on behalf of the Crown. Such Letters were signed and as a token of their good faith the Captains did present Their Majesties with a small collection of booty and a fine black steed for the Princess Royal Talia.

THLord Aquila d’Athos was recognized as having achieved Huntsman status in Thrown Weapons. As Their Majesties had no token with Them, one was provided by Master Charles of Alden.

Benjamin Hackwood was present to receive his Award of Arms scroll and accolades previously awarded in absentia at Coronation (scroll by Rota Egilsdottir).

The Kingdom Chronicler, Baroness Teresa Gabriela de Montoya y Sevilla announced to the populace that the William Blackfox Award nominees and the Sylvan Quill Prize winners were freshly published in the July Aestel. She encouraged one and all to thank their local chroniclers for all of their hard work during the past year.

Septimus was Awarded Arms for his service heavy fighting at demos and drumming (scroll by Barbary Rose, words by Alessandra Bentivegna da Faenza).

Sampson was Awarded Arms for his fierce skills in heavy weapons battle.

Edmund Griffin was Awarded Arms for his tenacity and prowess on the combat field (scroll by Barbary Rose, words by Alessandra Bentivegna da Faenza).

Garret the Bear was Awarded Arms for his service as deputy Seneschal and fighting skill with a glaive (scroll by Astraya).

Lord Philipe the Shamed was awarded the Order of the Keystone for many services to his group and the Kingdom, particularly as Chirurgeon (scroll by Collette de Paris).

Lady Fenris McGill was created a companion of the Order of the Sycamore for her artistry in sewing, jewelry, brewing and for her willingness to teach others (scroll by Ysabeau Tiercelin).

Lady Bronwyn nic Gregor was given into the Order of the Keystone for her service as MOL, class coordinator, tollner and her generous donation of many finely crafted award medallions to the Kingdom (scroll illum Morwena Everdon, calig Sarah Tuttle).

The Cauldron Bleu Cooks Guild was collectively admitted into the Order of the Keystone for their service in volunteering to provide edible delights to many, many Peerage vigils.

Lord Vettius was inducted into the Order of the Golden Alce for skill at Heavy weapons combat and service as Baronial Marshall (scroll by BMDL scriptorium, words by Daedez).

Dona Alessandra Bentivegna da Faenza was added to the rolls of the Order of the Millrind for her outstanding service to the fencing community and many years of work as a scribe of AEthelmearc (scroll illum by Vivienne of Yardley).

Their Majesties invited the Khan of Moritu, Daedez, into Their presence. They did recognize and thank her for her inspiration, her storytelling, her research and teaching of Mongol culture and did issue unto her an order to appear before Their Court at Pennsic to answer if she will accept admittance to the Order of the Laurel (scroll by Ekaterina Volkova).  Their Majesties called those companions of said Order to escort her Excellency and provide her with their council.

Their Majesties thanked all those present for attending and participating in the preparation for War.
