Mistress Aoibhel of Dun Holen was invited into His Majesty's court. She did explain to His Majesty that she wished to take a Protege but that there had been some disagreement.  Mistress Cassadoria Finialla joined Mistress Aoibhel, and they requested that Lord Bovi Farmadr be called forward.  Mistress Aoibhel recounted that she had found Lord Bovi to be very handy round camp and at home at events and beyond and so she wished to claim him as a student, Mistress Cassadoria also mentioned that his work with Iron, Leather and cloth all merited her attention and she should be able to take him as her student. Eventually the two Mistresses came to an accord that Lord Bovi should be both at the same time Mistress Aoibhel's Protege and Mistress Cassadoria's Apprentice, and so Lord Bovi was given an ancestral yellow belt that had been worn by her elder proteges bearing her arms to say "if found in a gutter return to sender"  Mistress Cassadoria promised that a belt was being fashioned for him from her, and he would receive it at a later date.

His Majesty then called for Bethany Archer.  He noted that she had been a member of the society for some years now and had proven herself setting up archery ranges, working at events, serving feast, washing dishes, cleaning the hall and assisting with thrones for all this Christopher did award her arms and bid her turn and be greeted by the populace as a lady.  Scroll by Lord Deryk the Archer.

King Christopher called forward Brianna of Steltonwald, he spoke kind words to her that he was very pleased to see the dedication to our society that she displays in one so young.  She stays late and assists with cleanup at events as well as producing beautiful scrolls for Kingdom and Baronial Courts, for these reasons His Majesty awarded her arms and bade her rise and greet the populace now as Lady Brianna, Scroll by Mistress Antoinette de la Croix.

His Majesty next called Muirgheal inghen Dubhghaill into court saying that the populace had spoken that though she was new to our society that she was noticed everywhere.  She is seen on the archery range, and at the Steltonwald sewing circle, sitting many shifts at troll at War Practice, and retaining for Their Majesties, thus King Christopher awarded her arms, and presented her to the populace now as Lady Muirgheal, scroll by Lady Anlaith ingen Trena.

Lord Bovi Farmadr was recalled into His Majesty's presence, as others had pointed out Bovi was very involved in the endeavors of Arts and Sciences and also rendering service to his Canton, barony and Kingdom, presently in the post of Castelaine and as Captain of Archers for the Canton of Steltonwald, near constant service at events, his courtesy and willingness to help anyone in need inspired His Majesty to induct Bovi into the Order of the Keystone, Scroll by Lady Barbary Rose.

As this had been a day full of archery, King Christopher invited his Archer General THLord Fintan na Coilled to enter his court to settle some outstanding business of his Office.  Fintan explained to the populace that part of his duties as Archer General is to track the scores and averages of the archers of the kingdom and to reward those who have attained rank with the recognition of Their Majesties. Fintan noted that one such individual was currently serving His Majesty.  Fintan then invited Lord Pearce Redsmythe to come forward. Fintan then presented Pearce with the badge of a Master Bowman for he had earned a Royal Rounds average of 83.7.  Fintan did then continue that there was another gentle currently in His Majesty's employ that merited such recognition, and invited THLord Brandubh O'Donnghaile to join him in court, Fintan presented Brandubh with a badge of the rank of Grand Master Bowman as Brandubh had earned a royal rounds average of 103, and did further commemorate the occasion with a scroll by the hands of Lady Brianna of Steltonwald.

His Majesty thanked THLord Fintan na Coilled for this update from his office, but replied that he was not yet done with him.  King Christopher spoke of service that Fintan had rendered, his continuing dedication to the archery community, his service rendered to the Kingdom as Archer General, and all of his hours of hard work at events.  There were others who agreed that this service had indeed been well noted, and so His Majesty invited the members of the Noble Order of the Millrind present to attend him and did invest Fintan into that order, Scroll by Mistress Antoinette de la Croix.

King Christopher then called THLord Urho Walterinnen into his court. His Majesty explained that he had only just recently come into possession of a certain scroll, and that he was anxious to pass it on to its rightful owner, and so His Majesty presented Urho with a scroll commemorating his induction into the order of the Scarlet Guard that had been done by Rurik and Angelik, the scroll was Illuminated by Baron Gwilym o'r Afonydd Tair and Calligraphed by Mistress Antoinette de la Croix.

His Majesty called for THLady Gianna di Aurelio, the Autocrat, he thanked her for the wonderful event, but that was not the matter that He wished to discuss with her.  His Majesty spoke of Gianna's scribal arts, her calligraphy and illuminations graced the scrolls of many subjects of the realm, and this had in turn drawn concerns from many of those members of the populace.  They did seek out His Majesty to discuss what might be done in the case of Gianna.  In His wisdom King Christopher then served her Ladyship with a writ of summons crafted by the hand of her laurel Countess Aidan ni Lier, to sit Vigil at a time of her choosing to contemplate whether she would accept elevation into the Most Noble Order of the Laurel for her scribal contributions to the realm.  His Majesty then called forth the members of the Order of the Laurel there present and asked if it was still their wish to have her among them.  Upon a unanimous cry of yes, His Majesty commanded them to take her then and counsel her as she contemplated this decision.

King Christopher then addressed the populace, He said that words failed him at such a time as this, that we had just this week lost a legend and good friend in Duke Morguhn Sheridan.  His death had taken us all by surprise, and that His Majesty had not the words to express his sorrow at this time.  His Majesty remarked that if we could all be just a bit more like Duke Morguhn then our society would be the better for it, but His Majesty did then invite the populace to remember His Grace in a book, and that Their Majesties would carry books with them throughout Their reign so that the populace could record their favorite memory or amusing story about Duke Morgen, and that these books would then be given to His Grace's Ladies as a memorial to this great man that we had lost.  His majesty invited all to join him in standing in a moment of silence to remember his grace, Duke Morguhn Sheridan.

There being no further business, the court of His Majesty was closed.
