Pilgrimage to Saint Swithins Event
Barony of Saint Swithins Bog

Report of the court of Their Majesties Maynard and Liadain, King and Queen of Aethelmearc, held at the Pilgrimage to Saint Swithins Event in the Barony of Saint Swithins Bog on the 11th day of July AS xliv, Their Royal Highnesses Henri and Elena, Prince and Princess of Aethelmearc, and Their Excellencies Quinn and Vivienne, Baron and Baroness of the Barony of St Swithins Bog in attendance, as reported by THLord Brandubh Ó Donnghaile, Silver Buccle, with the assistance of Dame Margaret Makafee and Maestra Giulietta da Venezia.
 
Their Majesties gave leave to Their Excellencies Quinn and Vivienne to hold a baronial court.
 
Mistress Irene von Schmetterling was named a seamstress of the court and given a token for her donations of garb to Their Majesties.
 
Their Majesties awarded arms to Kenshin Sato for his service at events, especially in the kitchens and his skill on the heavy weapons field in melee.  Scroll by Lady Helene al-Zarqa.
 
Battista di Lupo was called into Their Majesties’ court and awarded arms for his service to the Barony of St Swithins Bog as exchequer, tollner, fencer and help wherever needed.  Scroll painted by Lady Katriona of the Groves and Baroness Jennet the Gentle, Calligraphy by Jaqueline Aubrey.
 
Their Majesties called for Their bard Lord Corwyn ap Nennius as They had heard word of his service to the Canton of Westland Mor not only with song and tale, but also as knight marshal and hosting meetings, for these things They inducted him into the Order of the Keystone.  Scroll by Lady Kathryn de Lyon de Savoire, words by Lady Caitilin ni Mhaolchonaire.
 
Lady Emily of Dunvagen was called into court.  Their Majesties thanked her for her work in autocrating this event, but that she also serves her barony as Seneschale, and marshal, and so Their Majesties inducted her in the Order of the Keystone.  Scroll by Lady Ysabeau Tiercelin.
 
Their Majesties next called upon Lord Gareth Craig.  They had heard much of the artistic skills of this man, not only did he forge blades, and armor, but he also cooks and works leather with skill, for this Their Majesties inducted him into the Order of the Sycamore.  Scroll Illuminated by THLord Caoinlean Seanchaidh, with Calligraphy by Mistress Cynthia Love of the Tower upon words by Lady Michela of Summerville.
 
Lady Avitoria Vidua was inducted into the Order of the Sycamore in absentia for her skills at garb making, needle work and embroidery, and banner making.  Scroll by Lady Felicity Flussmullnerin.
 
Their Majesties inducted Lord Thorgrim Varghosson into the Order of the Golden Alce in Absentia for his skills with heavy weapons, serving as the Rattan champion for the Barony of Blackstone Mountain.  Scroll by Lady Juliana Stafford.

Their Majesties called for Their bard Lady Margarita d’Sienna and informed her that her bright smile, kind words, and willingness to entertain had found favor outside Our Borders and that foreign Queens had spoken to Their Majesties about the work of this Lady.  It so moved Their Majesties that They inducted her in the Order of the Carnelian.  Scroll by Lady Kathryn de Lyon de Savoire upon words by Lady Michela of Summerville.
 
The Order of the Millrind was summoned and Their Majesties asked if they were in agreement that another should be added to their ranks, and called forth Don Annanias Fenne from the fire where he was cooking feast.  Their Majesties noted that they had heard much of his service in the kitchens, as well as holding offices of Seneschale and marshal in the Shire of Misty Highlands, as Rapier Warlord for the Kingdom, and his ever willingness to serve wherever needed, and so They did induct him into the Order of the Millrind.  Scroll in progress by THLady Anlaith ingen Trena, Words by Dame Margaret Makafee.
 
But Their Majesties bid Don Donnan the Solitary to stay a moment longer so They could present him with a scroll commemorating his induction into the Order of the Millrind, crafted by Lady Mary Elizabeth Clason.
 
But Their Majesties bid Don Donnan the Solitary to stay a moment longer as there was another group of individuals that wished to speak to him regarding his more than 20 years of service to the rapier community, and called forth Their Most Noble Order of the Pelican to attend and did issue Don Donnan a Writ of summons to attend Them at Pennsic to answer.  Writ by Her Grace Dorinda Courtenay upon a text by Don Corwyn Montgomery.
 
Lord Clewin Kupferhelbelinc was called into Court as there was a group that wished to have words with him, so Their Majesties called for Their Order of the White Scarf, and inducted Clewin into the Order of the White Scarf for his skills in, service to, research of period manuals of, and teaching of the art of Fence.  His Lady Wife THLady Fredeburg von Katzenellenbogen presented him with a white scarf which Her Majesty hung from his Shoulder.  Scroll in progress by Sir Magnus Tindal.
 
Their Majesties called forward THLady Douglas Cameron Fitzrery and complemented her on her garb, in fact her garb was of such quality that there were others that wished to examine it more closely.  Their Majesties Then summoned the most noble Order of the Laurel to attend them, and issued a writ to THLady Cameron, that she should be elevated to the estate of the order of the Laurel and that she should return her answer at Summers End.  Writ calligraphed by Hrefna Fruthikona Thorgrimsdottir, with wax seals by Master Thorstein Christianson Ronnow.
