Report of the court of Their Royal Majesties Maynard and Liadain, King and Queen of Sylvan Aethelmearc, from the Children’s Crusade Event held on the 29th day of August Anno Societatis 44 in the Canton of Steltonwald, Their Royal Highnesses Henri et Elena, Prince and Princess of Aethelmearc, and Their Excellencies Byron and Ariella, Baron and Baroness Debatable Lands, in attendance, Brandubh Ó Donnghaile, Silver Buccle.
 
Their Majesties invited the youth marshal for the day’s tournament, Ceindrick merch Elidir, to attend them.  Ceindrick announced that this day had seen the first ever youth woods battle, and that of 6 entrants the victor proved to be Jacob of the Debatable Lands.  Her Majesty presented a token of Her esteem to Jacob for his courage and skills.  Ceindrick further presented to the court the newest authorized youth fighter to the kingdom, Luke, and presented him with a gift in congratulations of gaining his authorization that day.
 
Their Majesties invited Sir Hrothgeirr Ivarsson to attend Them as he had marshaled the heavy weapons ribbon tournament that day.  Sir Hrothgeirr announced that Sir Thorgrim Skullsplitter had proven victorious in the tournament, and his prize was an invitation to the Amethyst tournament.  However, Sir Thorgrim had previously won an invitation to the tourney and had passed this invitation to the runner up in the tourney Lord Tiberius Pinarius Varro.
 
The marshals of the event wished it announced that there had been 49 fighters and fencers who had entered the lists that day and that all had made donations to the Toys for Tots fundraiser as well as many other attendees of the event.
 
Don Clewin Kupferhelbelinc was called forward to speak for the Rapier Ribbon Tourney that he had conducted upon the field.  Don Clewin announced that the tourney had seen 12 fencers enter and that Lord William Paris had taken the most ribbons through combat and was proclaimed the winner.
 
Their Majesties called for Runa Thorgrimsdottir and inducted her into the Order of the Silver Sycamore for her illuminations, teaching stick and tablet weaving, and making braids and cords.  Scroll by Yvonne Beaudoin.
 
Ragnar Thorgrimsson was called into Their Majesties’ presence and inducted into the Order of the Silver Sycamore for his research and teaching of period games, playing fanfares, making finger loop braids and even making soap.  Scroll limned by Lady Marija Kotok, calligraphy by Raymond Legros.
 
Their Majesties called forward Torstein Thorgrimsson and commended him for his helpful nature, loaning his armor out that other youths might fight, teaching fighting techniques, and serving in the kitchens.  For this Their Majesties inducted him into the Order of the Silver Buccle.  Scroll by Lucia Legros.
 
Their Majesties Awarded Arms to Tafrara N Dukkala in absentia for her battlefield support in House Sable Maul, water bearing, gate guarding, always serving with a smile.  Scroll by Duchess Anna Blackleaf.  They also presented the scroll commemorating the Award of Arms of her Lord Faiol MacGeroit that had received at Blackstone Raids, Limned by Lady Rowan l’Crotha, calligraphy by Her Majesty Queen Liadain ni Dheirdre Chaomhanaigh.
 
Their Majesties awarded arms to Aibell ingen Chernachain in absentia for her many years of activity in the SCA from Robledal to the Debatable Lands, and of late her service as Minister of youth for the Barony-Marche of the Debatable Lands running youth activities at many local events.  Scroll painted by Lord Jacques of Sylvan Glen, calligraphy by Baroness Alessandra d’Avignon.
 
Their Majesties called for Ottilig Rappoltsweiler, who many know as Tracie of Stormsport.  They commended this fine lady for her hard works and also for coming to the event so that They could recognize her.  They were greatly pleased by the service that Ottilig had given the Shire of Stormsport over the past years cooking feasts and sideboards, hosting meetings in her home and even cooking for events that she cannot attend.  For this Their Majesties Awarded Arms unto the Lady.  Scroll in progress, words by THLord Brandubh O’Donnghaile.
 
Their Majesties Awarded Arms to Elss of Augsburg in absentia for her works in events, skills in archery and thrown weapons, service as a thrown weapons marshal and service as the chronicler for the Barony-Marche of the Debatable Lands.  Scroll illuminated by Gudney of Sylvan Glen, calligraphy by Gwyneth of Neutone Hille.
 
Lord Tagh Sotal O’Neill was called before Their Majesties.  They spoke words of gratitude to him for his service to Their Persons and to the Kingdom as a member of the Royal Encampment at Pennsic.  Lord Tagh was always handy for the duration of the War, and helped anyone with any problems that arose in camp, his willingness to talk and befriend everyone and share his coffee did so move Their Majesties to induct him into the Noble Order of the Carnelian.  Promissory scroll by Lady Barbary Rose and Duchess Anna Blackleaf.
 
Their Majesties inducted Lady Helewys Spynnere into the Most Noble Order of the Keystone in absentia for her many years of service at troll tables, serving as Chatelaine and recording secretary to the officers of the Barony-Marche of the Debatable Lands.  Scroll by Lord Robert l’Etourdi.
 
Their Majesties invited Her Excellency Baroness Ariella of Thornbury to attend Them.  They had been duly impressed by her fine sewing of dagged sleeves and fur trim with which she clothed her family, and by her hosting of sewing circles at her home that They inducted her into the Most Noble Order of the Sycamore.  Scroll Limned by Lady Gwenhwyvar Morwyn of Angels Keep, calligraphy by Lady Isolda filia Georgii.
 
Their Majesties inducted THLady Rufina Saavedra into the Order of the Sycamore in absentia for her bardic arts as teacher, story teller and puppeteer.  Scroll by Pani Zosia Kowalewska.
 
Their Majesties inducted Lord Greggor of Griffin’s Keep in the Order of the Golden Alce in Absentia for his skills in the heavy weapons list with great sword and his services to Griffins Keep as deputy knight marshal.  Scroll painted by Lady Isabella of Sylvan Glen, calligraphy by Mary Elizabeth Clason.
 
Their Majesties inducted Mistress Amaryllis Coleman into the Order of the Cornelian in absentia for her generosity with garb.  She teaches anyone who wishes to make garb, and has assisted making garb for more Royalty, Peerage elevations and just plain folks than can be counted.  She has travelled across sates and into others just to sew for gentle folk who needed garb or who invited her, and donates of her own fabrics and trims to complete projects.  Scroll by Mistress Gillian Llywelyn.
 
Their Majesties called forward Lady Elss of Augsburg as she had been found hard at work in the kitchen, and presented her with her scroll and presented her to the Court.
 
Her Majesty invited all gentles of the kingdom to attend Her after court if they had not received a Queen’s Favor at the Pennsic War.
