Coronation of Henri and Elena
Shire of Stormsport

The Report of the Court of Their Majesties Maynard and Liadain, King and Queen of Aethelmearc, upon the Occasion of the Coronation of Their Heirs, Henri et Elena, court held on the 19th day of September in the Shire of Stormsport, THLord Brandubh Ó Donnghaile, Silver Buccle, with the assistance of THLady Anlaith ingen Trena.
 
Their Majesties extended Their heart felt thanks to the populace of the kingdom, for with out them there would be no Kingdom, and They had truly seen how great Aethelmearc’s people are while They sat the throne.
 
Their Majesties inducted Countess Isabeau de l’Isle and THLady Keinwen Ragnarsdottir as Seamstresses to the crown, and thanked all of the fine gentles who had lent their assistance to clothing Their Majesties.
 
Their Majesties announced that they had created a new award in Aethelmearc, the Order of the Golden Thorn.  This Order would be awarded at the pleasure of the crown for defense or protection of the crown.  The token of this order is a garter, and there will be no scrolls.
 
Their Majesties did induct as principles of this new order Sir Otto of Westphalia for his dedication and service to the crown on and off the field and at many meetings while serving as Aethelmearc Warlord, Lord Kenshin Sato who stayed by His Majesty’s side throughout every battle carrying the kingdom banner and often putting himself in harm’s way, Baron Vladislaw Nikulich who served as captain of the Queen’s Guard and served as the voice of the Queen when she lost hers, Lord Jacob of Dunmar who had the uncanny ability to materialize whenever Their Majesties needed to carry heavy items and protected Her Majesties back from harm, and Lord Tiberius Pinarius Varro who dedicated himself throughout the reign to defending both of Their Majesties both on and off the field.  Each of these gentles received a red and gold garter created by Lady Avitoria Vidua.
 
Their Majesties asked all of the scribes who contributed scrolls to Their reign to stand and be recognized, when by brush, or pen, pencil, words or translation.  Their Majesties thanked them, for their services to the arts, as without them there would be no court.
 
Their Majesties called for Their Heir, the Prince Henri d’Artois.  Henri came forward with his household and stated that he had no grudge to bear, but rather had much love her his parents King Maynard and Queen Liadain, and wished them nothing but long life and happiness.  But Their Majesties had a law that states that Their Reign had come to an end, and Henri presented himself as rightful Heir and recounted His noble lineage.  Their Majesties replied that They would indeed act in accordance with this law, but that They would need some time to address the gentles still in Their service.
 
Their Majesties called for the artisans who had created tokens, provided services and more for Their Majesties’ reign: Countess Ilish O’Donovan, Lady Avitoria Vidua, Sir Aengus MacBain, Lady Isolda filia Georgii, Lady Alianor de Ravenglas, Lady Sophie Davenport, THLord Pearce Redsmythe, Mistress Honnoria of Thesscore, Master John Michael Thorpe, Lady Margarita d’Sienna, Mistress Ts’vee’a bas Tseepora Levi, Lady Nivah Katherine Rose of Bannockburn, Lady Deirdre Scot of Clan Scot, and Lady Felicitas Flussmullnerin.  These gentles were all given tokens painted by Lady Isolda filia Georgii and released from Their Majesties’ service.
 
Next Their Majesties called forward those who had served Them throughout Their Reign, Master Edmund Lambert of Tregelles, Duchess Dorinda Courtenay, Baroness Geirny Thorgrimsdottir, Baroness Ekaterina Volkova, Baroness Katherine Kersey, Baron William Freskin Murray, Mistress Cynthia Love of the Tower, THLady Katla Ulfhethinn, Lady Aillean inghen Proinnsias, Mistress Cori Ghora, Sir Sextus Plinius Callidus, Lady Mary Elizabeth Clason, THLord Filipo de Sancto Martino, THLord Brandubh O’Donnghaile, and Lord Drugar Mensch.  Their Majesties thanked these gentles for their services throughout Their Reign and presented them with tokens painted by Lady Isolda filia Georgii and released them from Their service.
 
Her Majesty then called for Her royal guard, Captain Baron Vladislaw Nikulich, Lord Jacob of Dunmar, Lord Tiberius Pinarius Varro, Lord Ardenn Scot of Clan Scott, Lady Ysabeau Tiercelin, Sir Olafr Thorvartharson, THLord Pearce Redsmythe, Lady Esa Baird, THLord Caoinlean Seanchaidh called Tower, Lord Vigo da Napoli, Lord Tadhg Sotal O’Neill, THLord Georg Eisenfaust, Mistress Irene von Schmetterling, Lord Gabriel de Wenslagh, Sir Thorgrim Skullsplitter, Lord Caelin O’Ruairc, Baron Seoan O’Donndubhain and Lord Alexander du Lac.  His Majesty thanked them for their service in defending His Queen, and Her Majesty instructed them all to keep their armbands as a token.  She also presented them all with heart tokens to give to their inspiration that they had been away from while in Her service and released them from Her service.
 
Their Majesties called for Lady Morwenna Everdon, Mistress Elisabeth Johanna von Flossenburg, and Baroness Marguerite de la Marche and awarded each of the Sigil of Aethelmearc, made by the hand of Master John Michael Thorpe, for their longstanding service and support to Their Reign, and released them.
 
Lastly Their Majesties summoned Duchess Anna Blackleaf and gave her special thanks, for she above all others had supported Their Majesties, kept Them on Schedule, fetched, and delivered messages even before Their Majesties could ask, and they did present her as well with the Sigil of Aethelmearc, by the hand of Master John Michael Thorpe.
 
Their Majesties once more summoned Their Heir, Prince Henri d’Artois.  They said that they were now ready to proceed as the law mandates and crown Him king.
 
His Majesty Maynard turned to Queen Liadain and divested her of the crown of Aethelmearc and dismissed her.  He then took the crown from His own head and crowned Henri 25th King of Aethelmearc, Maynard bowed to his new sovereign and took his leave.
