The Report of the Court of Their Majesties Henri and Elena,
Roi et Reine d’Aethelmearc, held at Kingdom Twelfth Night in the Barony
of
Thescorre on the Ninth Day of January, as 44, Their Royal Highnesses
Malcolm
and Tessa, Prince and Princess of Aethelmearc, and Their Excellencies
Eric and
Katja, Baron and Baroness of Thescorre, in attendance, THL Brandubh
Ó
Donnghaile, Silver Buccle.
Their Majesties invited Don Connor MacGillevrie and Lady
Margaret Griffith, the emissaries from the Kingdom of Ansteorra
to attend Them. They delivered gifts of
fine fabrics and a cow from the King of Ansteorra.
Henri and Elena thanked them for the
generosity of their King, and in turn announced a call for assistance
and
donations for replacing the regalia that was recently stolen from the Kingdom of Ansteorra and the Barony of
Namron, and
that Baroness Marci of Hadley and Dona Illadore de Bedegrayne would
coordinate
these efforts.
Their Majesties next called House Rolling Dragon to attend
Them, especially Lady Nivah Catherine Rose of Bannockburn and Lady Sorcha ingen
Airt. This household had embroidered many
tokens
and bags for Their Majesties’ use as largess at Gulf Wars.
Lady Nivah had headed up the efforts, and Lady
Sorcha had designed the embroidery patterns used.
Lady Allyssa von Stahlgeist was called forward and asked to
present her research of the pilgrimage to Canterbury. After
reading her findings Their Majesties
invited Mistress Honnoria of Thescorre and the other Members of the
Order of
the Laurel who had participated in the Pilgrimage to Nobility to
explain the
activities of that day, and invited the youth who had participated in
the
pilgrimage to come forward, Kate, Kye, Zachary, Kayla, Robert, Lyssa
and all
others who participated, and Their Majesties gave each of them a cast
pewter
sprig of laurel leaves pin to add to their pilgrimage hoods made by the
hand of
Master Thorstein Christianson Ronnow.
The Tribe Tuatha Fieren was invited forward and the Chief of
the Tribe Baron Caleb Reynolds presented Their Majesties with more
circlets
that They might give out in court to accompany awards of arms.
Their Majesties invited Baroness Peregrine of Thescorre
forward and charged her with a chest of toys and did instruct the youth
there
present to seek her out in the back of the hall to obtain one.
Their Majesties called forward Lady Margarita d’Sienna,
Their Sylvan Bard. Lady Margarita had
conducted a competition to select the next Sylvan Bard and Their
Majesties
called forward Kyliegh and Lady Brigette de Sainte Mere-Eglise. They asked if Kyliegh would perform Good King
Wenceslas, and Her Majesty gave her a ring and asked her to be Her
Youth Bardic
Champion. Their Majesties then Presented
the Baldric of the Sylvan Bard to Lady Brigette, and invited her to
perform at
feast.
Their Majesties bid Lady Margarita d’Sienna to stay a moment
longer in Their Presence. They then
inducted her into the Order of the Sycamore for her bardic skills and
eagerness
to learn more and teach and perform whenever possible.

Mistress Elisabeth Johanna von Flossenburg, the Minister of
Arts and Sciences, was invited forward.
Mistress Elisabeth spoke with Their Majesties that there was
currently a
vacancy amongst her deputies, and Their Majesties called forward Sir
Michael of
Northwood as tasked him to serve as the Arts and Sciences Deputy
Minister for
Historic Combat.
Their Majesties summoned Lady Meg the Mad as they had set
her to gather information on two of Her Majesty’s Guards Lord Po
Silvertop the
Rogue and Lord Robert l’Etourdi the Fop and called them forward. Since these two were well known pranksters
she had determined that they ought to be referred to as Heckle and
Jeckle for
their similar character traits to the pair of magpies by those names.
Lord Robert l’Etourdi was then admitted into the Order of
the Golden Alce for with skill with rapier, floppy carrot, wit and

Their Majesties called forth Lord Sigvaldi inn enski and
inducted him into the Order of the Golden Alce for his skills upon the
heavy

Ertekhan Khalek Shurrag Od was invited to attend Their
Majesties, and inducted into the Order of the Golden Stirrup for
presenting
himself in proper Mongolian fashion upon the battle field.

Their Majesties summed Lord Robert O’Connor and praised his
good works on behalf of the Shire of Sterlynge Vayle and the Kingdom of
Aethelmearc, and called the Order of the Millrind to witness his
induction into
that order for his years of service holding or serving as deputy to
nearly
every office in the shire, recruiting and driving new members across
the
kingdom to attend events, and for serving as shield tree deputy to
Silver

Baroness Teresa Gabriella de Montoya and y Sevilla was
invited forward and she explained that her term as Chronicler of the
Aestel had
come to an end and asked Their Majesties to call her successor forth. Their Majesties summoned Lady Ysabeau
Tiercelin and Baroness Teresa passed on the regalia of the office of
Chronicler
to her and she gave her oath of service to Their Majesties and to the Kingdom of Aethelmearc.
Their Majesties then called forth Baroness Roberta McMorland
and instructed her to attend both Their Majesties and Their Highnesses
at the Heralds
and Scribes Symposium to answer whether she would accept elevation to
the Order
of the Laurel
at that time for her skills and contributions to the scribal arts.
Their Majesties thanked all for attending, saying that they
looked forward tot the remainder of the evening and dancing. They reminded the populace of the Armies
gathering to the south and called the Kingdom of Aethelmearc
to crusade to accompany Their Majesties to Gulf Wars.
