Twelfth Night Celebration
Barony of St Swithins Bog

Report of the Court of Their Royal Majesties, Henri et Elena, Roi et Reine d’Aethelmearc, held a the Twelfth Night Celebration in the Barony of St Swithins Bog on the 16th day of January AS 44, Their Excellencies, Quinn and Vivienne, Baron and Baroness of St Swithins Bog in attendance, THLord Brandubh Ó Donnghaile, Silver Buccle.
 
Their Majesties gave leave to Their Excellencies to hold a Baronial Court.
 
Her Majesty entreated the populace to come to the aid of the Kingdom of Ansteorra and the Barony of Namron who had recently lost much of their regalia.  Her Majesty announced that gentles of our land had already volunteered to complete kneeling pillows, but that they are still in need of banners both for the Kingdom of Ansteorra and for the Barony of Namron and Baronial Coronets.  Please contact Baroness Marci of Hadley and Baroness Illadore de Bedegrayne to help with this effort.
 
Their Majesties invited Lady Katerina de la Marne and the children present at the event to come forth and charged lady Katerina with a chest full of toys instructing the children to seek out Lady Katerina and choose something from the chest.
 
Shaelyn MacDubh was called forward and Their Majesties spoke words of praise of the service of this fine lady, for wherever they saw her, she was always doing service, and so it pleased Them to Award her Arms.  Scroll calligraphy by Duchess Angelik de Beauvais with words by Baron Quinn Kerr.
 
Their Majesties called upon Balthazar to attend Them.  They spoke to him that They had heard of his achievements in archery and thrown weapons and were pleased by his service at events especially coming early and staying late to assist with set up and tear down, and so They Awarded him Arms.  Scroll by Mistress Talisidhe of the Greenwoods.
 
Hondagus was called before Their Majesties and awarded arms for his development of skills with Atlatl, helping wherever possible and even tending bar at the Chalkman Pub at Pennsic.  Scroll by Mistress Talisidhe of the Greenwoods.
 
Their Majesties called for Ruland Burkhart to attend Them.  They had heard that he had worked very diligently as a founding member to get the Incipient Shire of Ballachlagen up and running, and continues to serve the Shire as Web minister.  For this They Awarded him Arms and inducted him into the Order of the Keystone.  Scroll limned by THLord Caoinlean Seanchaidh, calligraphy by Mistress Cynthia Love of the Tower, with words by Mistress Aelfra Long.
 
Their Majesties called Lord Aelric Ravenshaw forth and added him to the numbers of the Order of the Keystone for his efforts in organizing regional practices, the leadership that he provides in thrown weapons and his ability to motivate others around him.  Scroll by Lady Vivienne of Yardley.

The King and Queen called for Lord Kenn the Just, and inducted him into the Order of the Golden Alce for his years of service and proven skills in fencing and thrown weapons.  Scroll limned by Lady Rachel Dalicieux, calligraphy by Mistress Cynthia Love of the Tower with words by Master Iago Benitez.
 
Their Majesties called Lord Boden to attend Them.  The also called forth Their Order of the Gage, and inducted Boden into that order for his rising skills at heavy weapons combat.  Zen scroll by THLord Brandubh Ó Donnghaile, scroll to be forthcoming.
 
His Majesty required a moment of time with His Excellency Baron Quinn Kerr.  His Majesty instructed His Excellency to proceed with the baronial elections, there had been enough delays and Their Majesties were satisfied with the issues and that His Excellency was to proceed with the ballots with no further delays.
 
Their Majesties then addressed the populace entreating them to join the noble armies of Aethelmearc as they go forth to the crusade at Gulf Wars.  If any one wished to go, The army of Aethelmearc will do whatever possible to insure safe transport to the War.
