A cry came from the back of the hall that foreign monarchs
approach, and Their Royal Majesties, Siegfried and Elizabeth, King and
Queen of
Northshield entered the court. His
Majesties Siegfried spoke to Their Majesties that he had heard word
that a
squire of his had run astray and that every year at Pennsic he shamed
his household
by showing up on the battlefield in tattered rags and smelling of the
last
night’s parties and still clearing fields in contests of arms. Their Majesties called forward this wayward
squire and summoned Lord Angus the Red.
His Majesty Siegfried suggested that perhaps branding him with
irons or
burning with acid would dissuade him from this behavior, and serve as a
cautionary tale to others, but His Majesty Henri replied that He had
another
idea. Henri proposed that to stop him
all They need do is to ruin his Street Credit.
This could be done by inducting him into the Order of the Gage,
and so
