The Report of the Court of Her Majesty, Elena, Queen of Aethelmearc held at the College of Three Ravens on the 27th day of February a.s. 44, Their Excellencies, Eric and Katja, Baron and Baroness of Thescorre in attendance, THLord Brandubh Ó Donnghaile, Silver Buccle.

Afternoon Court.

Her Majesty summoned Baroness Peregrine of Thescorre and praised her efforts as dance teacher on that day, and that she had done so much more for the Barony of Thescorre that others had made their will known to the crown.  Her Majesty summoned the Order of the Pelican and instructed them to take Peregrine into their counsel and give her advice as they may have and to return her to Her Majesty that evening so that she might answer whether she would accept elevation to the Order of the Pelican.  Writ by the hand of Mistress Matilda Bosville de Bella Aqua.

Evening court.

Their Excellencies, Eric and Katja, Baron and Baroness of Thescorre were given leave to hold a Baronial Court.

Her Majesty invited Master Fridrikr Tomasson to attend.  Fridrikr had autocratted the most recent Kingdom Twelfth Night celebration and wished to announce that the event had been such a success that the Kingdom’s share of the profits had been in excess of six hundred and fifty dollars.  Her Majesty thanked him for his diligent stewardship of the event and generosity with the proceeds.

Baron Edward Harbinger was invited forward and he presented Her Majesty with a banner for the Kingdom of Ansteorra made by the hand of his Lady Baroness Anastasie de Lamoure.  Her majesty thanked him and his lady for their skilled labor.  Her Majesty further announced that lady Margeurite de Neufchateau had also completed and delivered a second kneeling pillow, so that Their Majesties now had 2 pillows, one for Their Majesties and One for Their Highnesses of Ansteorra.

Sabrina of Thescorre was inducted into the Order of the Silver Buccle for her helpfulness at events, especially in the kitchens.  She never turned away from the opportunity to help and always did so with a smile and hugs.  Scroll limned by Baroness Juliana Rosalia Dolce da Siena, calligraphy by Baroness Katherine Kersey.

Her Majesty had a scroll by lady Ismay Ponde upon a text by Count Jehan de la Marche read into the record that Angela of Haus WeisenLowe was Awarded Arms at the Bears Event for her skills at card weaving and serving at events with a sweet smile.

Her Majesty called Mairead ni Mannin and Phalen the Wayfarer and Awarded Arms to both.  It had reached Their Majesties’ ears that these two fine gentles were about to leave Aethelmearc, and move to Atlantia for school.  Mairead had proven to be an invaluable member of Raven Raqs the middle eastern dance troop.  Phalen served as the Arts and Sciences Minister for the Barony of Thescorre, and was the autocrat that day, and had proven willing to help anywhere.  Scrolls by Lady Margaret Stewart Quinn and THLady Collette de Paris.

Her Majesty Called forward Lord Sigvaldi inn enski and presented him with the scroll commemorating his induction into the Order of the Golden Alce.  Scroll limned by THLady Odrianna vander Brugghe with calligraphy by THLord Cadell Blaidd du.

Her Majesty bid Lord Sigvaldi stay a moment longer as She had heard that he had reached the rank of Huntsman in Thrown Weapons and currently had a listed average score of 81.  She presented him with a badge of rank and scroll by the hands of Maria Christina de Cardoba with calligraphy by Harmedous Legros.

Lord Padraic O’Chaeleichair was called from the kitchens, but Her majesty wished to speak to him regarding his skills in the fencing list, his service as a marshal and his organization of fencing masters classes at baronial practices, and so She inducted him into the Order of the Golden Alce.  Scroll by Lady Vivienne of Yardley.

Her Majesty invited Countess Branwen ferch Gwythyr to attend Her.  Her Majesty thanked Countess Branwen for her years of scribal contributions, making lovely scrolls for both Kingdom and Baronial awards, and took pleasure in inducted her into the Order of the Sycamore.  Scroll calligraphed by Mistress Gillian Llwelyn.

Lady Gytha Oggesdohtor was called before Her Majesty and inducted into the Order of the Millrind for her years of work supporting thrown weapons, coordinating dance organizing arts and science meetings and washing dishes at events.  Scroll by Baroness Ekaterina Volkova.

Her Majesty summoned Baroness Peregrine of Thescorre before Her and invited the members of the Order of the Pelican to attend.  Her Majesty extolled the long service given by Peregrine serving as Baroness, Dance Mistress, Autocrat, Class coordinator, being the last to leave events as clean up crew, cook, chronicler, seneschal, and more.  Her Majesty then asked her if she would accept elevation into the Order of the Pelican.  Upon Peregrine’s assent, She called for Witnesses and heard counsel from Countess Branwen ferch Gwythyr as a Royal Peer, She heard the Words of Ertekhan Klalek Shurrag Od as a member of the Order of the Chivalry, from Mistress Alison of the Many Isles and Mistress Rhiannon y Bwa as companions of the Order of the Laurel, and the counsel of the Pelicans of the Barony of Thescorre, Mistress Orianna Fridrikskona, Master Fridrikr Tomasson, Mistress Sadira bint Wassouf, Master Devin Adair Bartholomy, Mistress Daedra McBeth a Gryphon, Master Cedric the Humble, Mistress Matilda Bosville de Bella Aqua and Mistress Katja Daidova Orlova Khazarina as they clasped hands .  Her Majesty called for regalia to mark Peregrine as a Mistress of the Order of the Pelican.  Countess Caryl Olesdatter brought forth the ancestral Pelican medallion and Her Majesty hung it about Peregrine’s neck.  Mistress Alison of the Many Isles produced a hood made by her hand, and Lady Bronwyn nic Gregor presented an embroidered pelican pin.  Her Majesty then clasped Peregrine’s hands round the Ancestral Pelican Medallion of Aethelmearc and received her oath of service.  Scroll in Progres by Mistress Matilda Bosville de Bella Aqua, with words by Baroness Daedra McBeth a Gryphon.

Her Majesty thanked the populace for working at the event, attending and especially to the teachers.  She truly felt warmed by the hospitality that had been shown to her by all on this day.
