The Report of the Court of Their Majesties, Malcolm and Tessa, King and Queen of Aethelmearc held at the 19th Blackstone Raids in the Barony of Blackstone Mountain held on the 24th day of April A.S. 44, Their Royal Majesties, Dag and AnneMarie, King and Queen of the Middle Kingdom, Their Royal Highnesses, Radagaisus and Ceinwen, Prince and Princess of the Middle Kingdom, and Their Excellencies Kire and Kathryn, Baron and Baroness of Blackstone Mountain in attendance, THLord Brandubh Ó Donnghaile, Silver Buccle, with the assistance of Lady Kathryn MacLuing.

Afternoon Court.

Their Majesties greeted the sylvan army as they prepared to take the field.  They were proud that there were 75 warriors who would represent Aethelmearc this day upon the field to face the armies of the Midrealm.

Their Majesties called Master Skalla-Valgardr Gunnarsson to attend Them.  They then ordered him to appear before Them in Their evening court to answer whether he would accept admittance into the Most Noble Order of the Pelican.

Her Majesty invited those on the field to attend her so that She might bestow a favor upon them to wear in combat.

Evening Court.

Their Majesties invited Their Excellencies Kire and Kathryn to join Them in Court.

Their Majesties further invited Their Cousins, Dag and AnneMarie, King and Queen of the Middle Kingdom, and Radagaisus and Ceinwen, Prince and Princess of the Middle Kingdom to join Them.

Their Majesties invited Mistress Anne Grey to attend Them.  Mistress Anne had conducted an Arts and Sciences competition , and presented a goblet to THLady Fredeburg von Ketzenellenbogen as the winner of the competition.

Their Excellencies Kire and Kathryn inducted Lady Sebasteinne du Guion into the Order of the Anvil Rose.  Scroll limned by THLady Maria Christina de Cordoba and scrivened by Lady Verena von Talhain.

Their Excellencies inducted Reuben MacUrsus into the Order of the Onyx.  Scroll by Lady Verena von Talhain.

Their Excellencies inducted Andreas di Rossi into the Order of the Onyx.  Scroll limned by Lady Kathryn MacLuing, scrivened by Lady Verena von Talhain.

Their Excellencies delivered a letter of Marque to Lord Lazarus as he currently sojourns within the borders of the Kingdom of Atlantia.

Their Excellencies held a discussion with Their Excellencies, Mac Con and Gracia, Baron and Baroness of the Barony of Black Diamond.  They decided that perhaps a Black on Black event may need to happen in the future to decide whether the Black Stones of the Mountain or the Black Diamonds are truly more Durable.

Their Majesties called Lord Lucious Gothicus, Kaedor, Justinius Deth, Lord Grimbald Deth, Werner von Absburg, Rictus, and THLord Angus the Red to attend Them.  His Majesty charged each one of these men with the safety of His Queen, Tessa , and took an oath from them to protect Her from harm.  His Majesty and the captain of the Queen’s Guard armed them bade them take their posts as members of Her Majesty’s Guard.

Their Majesties bid Lord Grimbald Deth to stay a moment longer and announced that letters had been satisfied between Themselves and Their Majesties of the Kingdom of Atlantia so that Lord Grimbald Deth, Angel Deth, and Justinius Deth were hereby declared subjects of the realm of Aethelmearc.

Lord Rouland of Willowbrooke was called forth and congratulated him on his fighting spirit, his skills and his abilities to inspire others on the field.  For this, They inducted him into the Order of the Golden Alce.  Scroll by Lady Mary Elizabeth Clason upon a text by Master Creature Twyne Dragon.  They also presented him with the regalia of he Kingdom Youth Champion, as he had proven the victor in that tournament at Coronation, and was bid to join the court.

Their Majesties inducted Aelric Ravenshaw into the Order of the Golden Alce for his skills at fencing and heavy combat, serving as marshal of both disciplines, and helping with youth combatants.  Scroll limned by Lady Rowan l’Crotha, scrivened by Mistress Gillian Llwelyn.

Lord Morgan Holte was inducted into the Order of the Golden Alce for his skills and services in the fencing community.  Scroll by Willbrod Legros.

Their Majesties called THLady Fredeburg von Katzenellenbogen forward.  His Majesty spoke that the first time he met her was on the fencing list, and that there over the year she He continued to meet her, and continued to learn more of the art of the rapier from her each time They crossed blades.  There were others who had also taken note of her Skills on the list, and so Their Majesties inducted her into the Order of the White Scarf.  Her Husband Don Clewin Kupferhelbelinc presented her with a scarf for her arm.  Scroll by Lady Ismay Ponde upon a text by Count Jehan de la Marche.

Their Majesties called THLord Gabriel Hawkes forward, they had noticed the beautiful and durable shields that he had painted.  These shields were carried by Their Majesties’ predecessors, and were beautiful items of regalia, for this They inducted him into the Order of the Sycamore.  Scroll limned by Lady Mairghead ui Stilbhard uu Coinn, scrivened by Mistress Gillian LLwelyn.

Lord Eckhart von Insterburg was inducted into the Order of the Golden Alce for his steady practice and improvement on the heavy weapons field as he followed his King throughout the previous reign.  Scroll by Lady Sophie Davenport.

Lord Brennan of Acre was inducted into the Order of the Golden Alce for his improvements on the heavy weapons list, as he travelled across the known world fighting in defense of his King and Queen.  Scroll limned by the Keepers of the Rolling Dragon Household and scrivened by Francois Legros.

Their Majesties invited Baroness Rowan le Beau to attend Them.  Words had reached Their ears of the many labors of Rowan, that she had held many offices in the Barony of Blackstone Mountain, and labored at events as tollner for many years, always performing with a gentle grace and efficiency.  Their Majesties had heard this counsel from Their Order of the Millrind and did then include Baroness Rowan amongst their numbers.  Scrol by Baroness Ekaterina Volkova.

Master Valgardr Gunnarsson was summoned forth as Their majesties had outstanding business.  They questioned him if he had a response to Their question as to whether he would accept admission into the Order of the Pelican.  He replied that he would gladly accept this honor.  Their Majesties invited the Order of the Pelican forward to bear witness.  Count Jehan de la Marche gave spoke as Knight of the Order of the Chivalry, Maestra Gianna di Aurelio spoke as a Mistress of the Order of the Laurel, Master Creature Twyne Dragon spoke as a Master of the Order of the Pelican and Maestra Giulietta de Venezia sent a letter to speak as a Mistress of the Pelican, and Countess Alexandra of Clan Donald spoke as a Roya Peer.  Their Majesties called for regalia to clothe Valgard and mark him as a Pelican.  They clothed him with an embroidered tunic from Mistress Elisabeth Johanna von Flossenburg.  They covered him with a coat embroidered by Hrefna Fruthikona.  Master Donnan the Solitary presented the ancestral Pelican Medallion of Aethelmearc, and Mistress Julianna Delamere pinned a Pelican Borach to him.  Their Majesties then presented Master Valgardr as the newest Pelican of Aethelmearc.  Promissory scroll by Maestra Gianna di Aurelio.

Their Majesties thanked all for coming this day, and especially to Their Majesties and Highnesses of the Midrealm for bringing Their Armies thus supplying an opponent so that the contest of arms could be held upon the field.  Their Majesties further proclaimed that the Midrealm had proven to be good friends and so it was that at the forthcoming Pennsic War the banners of he Escarbuncle will fly beside those of the Dragon, as Aethelmearc will ally with the Middle this year.  Their Majesties further invited all present to attend Them at War Practice that all might practice the art of war as invaders will surely present themselves on that day.

Their Majesties, Dag and AnneMarie, of the Middle present a gift basket as thanks for day of combat and camaraderie.
