Report of Her Majesty's Courts at the Celebration of the
Summer's End, 11 September AS XXXXV, in the Canton of Beau Fleuve, within the
Barony of
the Rhydderich Hael.
Morning Court
Her Majesty insisted that THL Cigfran o Gaer Walch and THL
Dagonell Collingwood of Emerald
Lake attend
Her.
She spoke of their many years of service to the Shire of Herontir, the
Barony
of the Rhydderich Hael, and the kingdom and Known World. She then
invited
the Most Noble Order of the Pelican to attend her and had a Writ read,
sending
THL Cigfran and THL Dagonell to contemplate elevation to the
Order.
Before they departed, Sir Andreas Hak spoke words from the heart and
released
THL Dagonell from his service as squire to Sir Andreas. Scroll

Caithness.
Afternoon Court
Her Majesty invited Lady Nivah Catherine Rose of Bannockburn into Her
presence. She thanked Lady Nivah for her continuous service to
the Crown,
her work with the youth of our Kingdom, and her generosity and
kindness.
Her Majesty then bestowed upon Lady Nivah the dignity and splendor of a

Her Majesty called for the following gentles to attend her:
Corvinus de Cuvis, Hefðarkona Reyni-Hrefna, Magdalena of
Mayfeld, Marguerite de Neufchasteau, and Kateryn of Bakestonden.
Her
Majesty thanked them all, the first four in absentia, and gifted each
with the
Sigil of AEthelmearc for their service to the Crown.
Her Majesty called Adelheid of Thescorre into court.
She spoke of Adelheid's long service in the kitchen, the halls, and the
Chiurgeon's Point, and elevated Adelheid to the nobility with an Award
of Arms.

Her Majesty invited Octavia of Thescorre into Her
presence. Lord Gregorious spoke for Octavia. Her Majesty
spoke of
Octavia's fighting skills and leadership on the field and awarded her
arms.

Her Majesty invited Temair Ruadh into her court. She
spoke of Temair's service as the seneschal of the Shire of Hornwood,
most
especially for helping her shire through difficult times, and announced
that

Her Majesty invited Vettia into Her court. As she was
not present, Their Excellencies of Thescorre represented her. Her
Majesty
spoke of Vettia's skill at archery and sewing and her work in the
kitchens and

Morwen and Lady Mairhead ni Stilbheard ui Coinn.
Her Majesty invited Beowulf fitz Malcolm into Her
Court. He was represented by Baron Caleb of the Rhydderich
Hael.
Her Majesty spoke of Lord Beowulf's work in keeping communications
running at
the Pennsic Wars, and his work as a Youth Marshall, and awarded him
with
induction into the Order of the Keystone. Scroll by Sir Sextus

Her Majesty invited Lady Zosia Kowaleska into Her
court. She noted that Lady Zosia not only was the Event
Steward for
Summer's End, but also was working in the kitchens. In the belief
that these
and other good deeds in service of the Barony of the Rhydderich Hael
should not
go unpunished, Her Majesty inducted Lady Zosia into the Order of the

Her Majesty demanded the presence of Lord Richard von Tanne.
She spoke of his skill as a mason of stone and subtlety and of his
skills in
the working of wood and metal, and awarded him with induction into the
Order of

Her Majesty invited Lord Alexander du Lac into Her court.
She spoke of his skill in the art of fence and of his service both to
his
barony and as a Queen's Guard. She inducted Lord Alexander into
the Order

Her Majesty summoned Lord Marc Gunnarson into Her
presence. She spoke highly of his service and skill on the
fencing list
field and of nobility and generosity of spirit. She then inducted
Lord
Marc into the Order of the Golden Alce. Scroll by Mistress

Her Majesty invited Lord Francois Belgraunde the
Bladegatherer, into Her court. She spoke to him of his service to
the
Barony of the Rhydderich Hael, his passion for all he does, and the
love that
many have for him. She then asked the companions of the Noble
Order of
the Millrind to join her in Her court. She then joyously inducted
Lord
Franz into the August Order to the acclaim of the populace.

Her Majesty invited Lord Malcolm fitz William into Her
court. Lord Malcolm was not present. However, Her Majesty
spoke of
his many years of service to the people and the Kingdom as a herald,
especially
as Sycamore Herald, and of his dignity, grace, and courtesy. She
then had
his elevation to the Noble Order of the Millrind read into the
records.

Her Majesty invited Lady Felicitas Flußmullerin. She
admired Lady Felicitas's clothing and remarked on her knowledge of all
things
Landsknecht. She spoke of Lady Felicitas fervent research into
the High
German culture and then requested that her Order of the Fleur
d'AEthelmearc
join Her court. Thereupon, Lady Felicitas was inducted into the
Noble
Order. The scroll, an act of deviltry, from the hand, heart, and
evil
mind of Mistress Matilda Bosvyle de Bella Aqua.
Her Majesty noted the absence of Viscount Haakon Oaktall
from Her court. She asked that Baroness Alison of the Many Isles
and THL
Timothy of Edgewood stand in his stead. She proclaimed, in his absence,
that
Sir Haakon has spent many years in the service of the Crown and
Kingdom, has
inspired all by his acts of chivalry and courtesy, and has always
conducted
himself with honor. Therefore, She found it fit to award him an
Augmentation of Arms, to wit: On a canton gules, an escarbuncle
argent.

Her Majesty invited THL Cigfran o Gaer Walch and THL Dagonell
Collingwood of Emerald
Lake into Her
presence. They entered accompanied by House Otter's Keep.
After
they arrived, Her Majesty asked them to answer a question she had put
to them
earlier in day: Whether they would accept elevation to the Most
Noble
Order of the Pelican. After they assented she invited the Most
Noble
Order into Her presence. As witness to the noble qualities of the
candidates, Master Ottfrid Ammerthaler spoke of their long service,
especially
to the heraldic community; Mistress She'erah bat Shlomo spoke of their
long
service to the arts, both of heraldry and performance; Sir Andreas Hak
spoke of
their courtesy and chivalry to all, especially to those who have newly
joined
our Society; and Duchess Dorinda Courtenay spoke of their acts of
courtesy and
kindness. Letters were read from Duchess Rowan de la Garnison,
speaking
of both candidates and their worth. The ancestral medallion, on a
chain
that even the tallest Pelican would have found daunting, was placed
about both
of the candidates' necks at one time. Further medallions were
presented
by Mistress She'erah bat Shlomo and Sir Andreas Hak. Fine cloaks
of black
wool with the badge of the Order were placed about the
candidates. Both
Mistress Cigfran and Master Dagonell swore their oaths of Fealty to the
Crown. And both were proclaimed the newest members of the Most
Noble
Order of the Pelican with Arms by Letters Patent. Scrolls worded
by Sir
Andreas Hak and brought to life by the hand of Lady Sthurrim Caitness.
Her Majesty announced that for his wondrous skills at making
toys that have kept His Majesty entertained during battles during this
reign,
Viscount Alexander Caithnes of Wyk is named Toymaker to the Crown.
