The
Report of the Court of His Royal Majesty Malcolm, King of Aethelmearc,
held on
the 11th day of September anno societatis xxxxv at the
second
Children’s crusade held in the Canton of Steltonwald with Their
Excellencies
Byron and Ariella, Baron and Baroness of the Debatable Lands in
attendance,
THLord Brandubh Ó Donnghaile, Silver Buccle, with the assistance
of Lady
Katerin ferch Gwenlian.
Afternoon
Court.
His
Majesty presented His Excellency Byron of Haverford with the token of a
Huntsman
for his skills at thrown weapons had achieved a royal rounds average of

Lady
THorfinna hrogen Josepsdottir was inducted into the Order of the
Keystone in absentia
for her many labors raising the thrown weapons program in the Debatable
Lands,
not only did she buy loaner knives and axes for others to use, but
negotiated a
practice space, and arranged for he construct of targets.

Lord
Marcus du Couer was inducted into the Order of the Golden Alce for his
heavy
weapons skills travelling to serve his king and representing his
kingdom at
Gulf Wars and in many tourneys and the champions battle at Pennsic. Scroll by Countess Aidan ni Leir.
His
Majesty inducted Lord Gareth Whytebull into the Order of the Golden
Alce in
absentia for his skills upon the field with heavy weapons, making armor
that
others might fight as well. He serves as
the knight marshal of the Incipient Shire of Ballachlagan and assisted
in the
formation of the Silver Talon. Scroll by

Lord
Jorundr hinn Rotinn was inducted into the Order of the Golden Alce for
his
skills at thrown weapons. Jorundr was
known as a skilled thrower and marshal assisting with baronial practice
and
serving as marshal in charge of several events.

His
Majesty then spoke of those that support he battlefield and make all of
the
activities there possible. He then named
Baroness Alexandra dei Campagnella the second member of the Company of
the
White Lion for all of her efforts organizing activities surrounding the
battle
in absentia.
Master
Creature Twyne Dragon was invited to attend His Majesty and asked the
boon to
conduct some personal business. His
Majesty then called for Lord Aelric Ravenshaw to join Them. Master Creature then asked Lord Aelric if he
was prepared to serve him as his Master and to learn what he could
teach and in
turn to teach him that which he knew and learned from others. Lord Aelric replied that he indeed looked
forward to this arrangement and accepted Master Creature’s offer. Creature then took presented a belt of yellow
and green to Aelric to signify that he would be his Master for both the
Arts
and service.
His
Majesty then invited Baron Caoinlean Seanchaidh to attend.
His Majesty spoke to Baron Caoinlean that he
had given him a task at the Pennsic War to fill a book with the words
and advice
of as many Master and Mistresses of the Order of the Pelican as to the
Nature
of the Peerage. His Majesty then asked
for that book that he might read it and judge its contents for Himself. He gave Caoinlean leave to enjoy the day as
he might, but that His Majesty would require his attendance that
evening that
he might answers a question.
His
Majesty further invited all attendees to enjoy the fine day that had
been
presented.

Majesty inducted Duke Christopher Rawlins into the Order of the Fleur
d’Aethelmearc in absentia for his skills in 14th century
English
garb sewing, especially for his construction and teaching other to make
arming
cotes of the period, and constructing pavilions. Promissory

Her
Grace Duchess Morgen of Rye was inducted into the Order of the Fleur
d’Aethelmearc in absentia for her skills in garb sewing, both for the
wardrobe
of an English Noble and a Japanese Warrior.
She had taught many to sew pavilions, and presented many banners
painted

His
Majesty called forth Lady Sarab bint Alima.
He praised her skills as a tailor, or she had been well known
for her
Middle Eastern garb and now had been working to perfect a Flemish
wardrobe, and
so he inducted her into the Order of the Sycamore.

Lady
Zhang Ming Li was created a companion of the Order of the Sycamore in
absentia
for her research and teaching of the intricacies of Chinese women’s
court life,
history, makeup, hair, and culture.

His
Majesty invited His Grace Duc Henri d’Artois and Her Excellency
Comtesse Elena
d’Artois to attend that they might conduct some household business. His Grace Henri called upon his household,
The Company of the Northern Cross, to attend.
He then spoke of a gentle who he had known since his first days
in the
society, this peer of the realm had long lent guidance to Henri, and
they had
often shared their interest of their time period. Duc Henri was greatly
honored
when this gentle asked to give his homage to Henri and to enter into a
vassal
position in his household. Henri as the
great lords in period had done then invited Master Huon Damebrigge of
Wattlynge
to join him and installed him in a position of honor in his household
and
Master Huon swore his homage to Duc Henri, Comtesse Elena and their
house. Duc Henri then gifted Master Huon
with a
chain to show his link to himself and the King, a gurtel Book
displaying Duc
Henri’s badge, a white garter, and one of the spurs in which Duc Henri
was
knighted to display or hold as he sees fit.
Master Huon thanked Henri and Elena for their kindness in
honoring his
request and that he had been truly touched by the gifts given him. Master Huon in turn gave gifts of the plenty
of his estate to Honor Duc Henri and his house.
Henri thanked His Majesty for the pleasure of being allowed to
conduct
this household business before the court.
Lady
Ruaidhri Mac Aoidh was called forth and inducted into the Order of the
Sycamore
for her skills in sewing and fitting garb across many different time
periods
and countries and always working on the appropriate touches of coifs
and aprons

Lord
Liam Mac an Tsaoir was called forth and granted admission in to the
Order of
the Millrind for his long service as Chirurgeon of the Debatable Lands
and of
many events and further autocrating many events. Promissory

His
Majesty then called for the attendance of Baron Caoinlean Seanchaidh. His Majesty presented His Excellency’s book
back to him, and said that while reading it he had learned many things
about
the Order of the Pelican. His Majesty
asked if he had read all of these words and understood their weight. His Excellency replied that did.
His Majesty then asked if was prepared then,
knowing this weight, to enter into the Order of the Pelican. Upon his assent His Majesty invited all
members of the Order of the Pelican to attend.
His Majesty then heard counsel of the Courtesy of Baron
Caoinlean from
Duchess Rowan de la Garnison as read by Duc Henri d’Artois, Duc Henri
d’Artois further
spoke of his Chivalry, Baroness Sara Charmaine of Falkensee spoke of
his
pursuit and teaching of the arts, and Baroness Cynthia Love of the
Tower spoke
of his never ending service to all in need.
His Majesty, being convinced of Caoinlean’s merit, called for a
medallion to mark him as a peer of the realm and Master of the Order of
the
Pelican, and Baroness Cynthia presented one to His Majesty. His Majesty then called for a hood to shade
his brow from the sun, and shield him from the wind and rain, and
Baroness
Charmaine presented one embroidered by her hand. His
Majesty then took Tower’s oath of service
as a peer of the society upon his sword and bid him rise as a master of
the

His
Majesty spoke of the fighting today and that he looked forward to more
of it,
and all the good reports he had from Gulf Wars of the might of the
Aethelmearc
army there. He invited Duc Henri
d’Artois once again to attend and charged him to assemble what warriors
and
support staff as he can and proceed on crusade along with the war host
of
Aethelmearc to Gulf Wars, to work with whomever will be Warlord and
augment the
might of Our Kingdom. Henri replied that
it would be his honor to once again carry the banners of Aethelemarc
upon the
field of battle at Gulf Wars.
His
Majesty spoke that soon it would be the time of the Hiers to the
throne, but
that he had experienced great joy during the reign.
He thanked all who attended for their
inspiration and bringing joy to Him.
