Twelfth Night Celebration
Barony of Saint Swithin’s Bog
The Report of the Court of Their
Sylvan Majesties Isenwulf and Rosalinda, King and Queen of Aethelmearc,
held at the Baronial Twelfth Night Celebration in Saint Swithin’s Bog
on the twenty-first day of January anno societatis forty-six with Their
Excellencies Caoinlean and Cynthia, Baron and Baroness of Saint
Swithin’s Bog, in attendance, Maistir Brandubh Ó Donnghaile,
Silver Buccle.
Their Majesties Granted leave to Their Excellencies Caoinlean and
Cynthia to hold Their Baronial Court.
Their Majesties then presented a Twelfth Night Present to Their
Excellencies Caoinlean and Cynthia, and Their Excellencies in turn gave
a Twelfth Night present of the bounties of Their Barony to Their
Majesties.
Elric Delindesaya was called forward and Awarded Arms for his skills as
a fencer and service as a marshal of fence at events and
practices. He always makes himself available for authorizations,
and at camping events he is the first to offer a seat in the shade and

Their Majesties called for several gentles who were not in attendance
that day due to the weather. They grew tired and called for Their
Brute Squad to come forward and find Them someone to receive in Their
Court. The Brute squad then captured Lord Madison Morai and
brought him before Their Majesties. They spoke to him of his
gentler arts, and specifically that of his cordials. Lord Madison
had been making cordials for some time that were well balanced,
pleasing to the palate and deceptively powerful. For this They
inducted him into the Order of the Sycamore. Scroll limned by

Their Majesties called THLord Augusto Giuseppe da San Donato to come
forward. Augusto invited any who wished to have their Picture
taken to seek him out at the Fireplace after court where he would be
taking portraits.
Their Majesties thanked the organizers and staff of the event, cooks
and scribes and all who had helped with the event or their
efforts. They reminded the populace of Duc Henri d’Artois’
challenge as the heavy weapons Warlord to field 300 Aethelmearc
warriors on the Heavy field at Pennsic and encouraged all the warriors
of Saint Swithin’s Bog to join Them on the Field at Pennsic. They
also invited the Fencers, Archers and Throwers to join the corps at
Pennsic to give Aethelmearc record numbers across the board as We stand
with our allies against the combined might of the East and Middle
Kingdoms.
Their Excellencies Caoinlean and Cynthia then reminded the Populace
that the silent auction and raffle winners would be announced during
feast and that the Bardic competition would also take place then.
During Feast Their Majesties announced that Master Donnan the Solitary
had served out the term of Kingdom Marshal of Fence and that the Office
had been taken up by Her Grace Duchess Dorinda Courtenay.
