The items accepted on this letter have been forwarded to Laurel for further consideration, where we expect they will be decided on in August of 2007.
1. Gytha Oggesdohtor - New Name Accepted with change; Device Accepted
Per chevron inverted azure and vert, a cat dormant Or and three wolf's teeth issuant from dexter base argent.
Originally submitted as <Oggasdohtor>. As Albion pointed out, the correct form of the genitive of Ogga in the patronym should be either Ogges- or Oggan-. I have changed the byname to Oggesdohtor, because of the two forms, it is closer to the submitted spelling, and I have asked Pelican for clarification on which of the two forms would more correct.
More than one commentator raised concern that the name was obtrusively modern by referring to the fictional character Gytha “Nanny Ogg” in novels by Terry Pratchett. Since this is a subjective “scruff of the neck” call, I thought it best to give the submitter the benefit of the doubt and send it up to Laurel, where a larger pool of commentators may be polled.

8. Yang SuGyong - Change of Name from Ann of Thanet and Resubmitted Device Accepted
Per pale gules and argent, a pair of wings conjoined in lure counterchanged and on the honor point overall a trillium purpure barbed vert.
I have noted on the XloI Myfanwy’s concerns regarding the variable location of the honor point in various resources, as well as the concerns regarding the overall placement of the trillium.
9. Ysabeau Tiercelin – New Name and Device Accepted (blazon revised)
Azure, a horse rampant Or
within a bordure Or semy of
pommes.
I have regenerated the forms to add internal detailing to the horse and to correct the Or that was used on the submitted color emblazons, which was tenne, or tawny orange. (“Or” should appear as Crayola yellow on submission forms.)
