Æthelmearc Letter of Report Æ120

I would very much like to thank those who commented on this month's letter: Livia Valentini, Myfanwy ferch Rhiannon and Rohese de Dinan, Red Hawk Herald!
The items accepted on this letter have been forwarded to Laurel for further consideration, where we expect they will be decided on in December of 2009.
1: Annora Draper - New Name Accepted & New Device Returned
Per bend vert and argent, a compass star sable.

The device conflicts with Melissande Aefensteorra (reg. 06/1986 via the West), Chevronelly vert and argent, a mullet of eight points, alternately straight and wavy, sable, and with Craig of the Glyn (reg. 09/1990 via Caid), Gyronny gules and Or, a compass star sable (for Wythfed Ffordd House). It may also conflict with Sol Tizona (reg. 02/2003 via the Middle), (Fieldless) A sun sable transfixed by an arrow inverted argent, depending on whether the arrow is a maintained charge or not.
2: Rígnach inghean uí Chonaill - New Device Change Accepted
Per pale vert and azure, a chevron argent between three Thor's hammers Or. 
3: Ulrich von Baden - New Device Change Accepted
Or, on a fess sable between two bars gules a bar argent.
4: Verederosa Dal Sol - New Badge
(Fieldless) On a rose vert a sun Or.

I have noted the possible visual conflict with Roger of York (reg. 05/2000 via Ansteorra), "(Fieldless) A rose vert."  It is my opinion that the identifiability of the tertiary sun in Verederosa's badge is adequate to distinguish the two pieces of armory. However, if Roger's rose is seeded Or, a visual comparison would be prudent.
