Here are my comments on ILoI #127.
2: Antoinette de Lorraine - No conflicts found.
10: Elyse le Bref - There is a typo in the documentation. The
name which is found in Colm's article is <Elyes>, not <Elyse>. I
have been unable to find any period citation for <Elyse>. The
closest I've found is <Elise>, which is dated to 1419 in SMP s.n.
Eliza.
11: Gruffudd ap Owein - This conflicts with <Griffyn ap Owain>
(reg. 11/1998 via Trimaris); <Griffyn> and <Gruffudd> are
variants of each other, and they are not significantly different
in sound.
12: Gwydeon ap Arden - The given name was registered as recently as May
2007 (<Arian verch Gwydion>, alternate name registered to <Arian Rose
of Nairn>); it was registered without comment. The documentation quoted
Academy of Saint Gabriel Report #2216, which says:
"As you noted, <Gwydion> is the name of a character in the collection of
Welsh legends and mythology, the Mabinogion. We know of only one instance
of this name used by a historical person in our period, recorded in 1308
[1]."

Wales Press, 1985), s.n. Boly.
14: LasairfhÃona inghean Aindrias - Following <inghean>, <Aindrias>
needs to be in the genitive case, i.e., <inghean Aindriasa>. No
conflicts found with the name.
15: LÃadain nà Dheirdre Chaomhánaigh - No conflicts found.
18: Renaut Lionett - This conflicts with Rainer Wulfgar (reg. 07/2005
via Drachenwald), "Azure, a chevron ermine between three griffins Or",
with a CD for changing the type of the secondaries. If the submitter
is interested in pursuing permission to conflict, I can help him get
in touch with Rainer.
