AEthelmearc Internal Letter of Intent #AE43
May 28, 2000 C.E. / A.S. XXXIV

Unto the AEthelmearc College of Arms and all unto whom these words come, warmest greetings from Dagonell Collingwood, Lord Garnet Herald.

Congratulations to His Lordship Edmund Lambert Trellgelles, the new Silver Buccle Principal Herald of AEthelmearc! Vivat! Vivat! Vivat! Condolences to the other fine candidates who tried out for the position. Mistress Elspeth, Laurel Queen of Arms, told me at War Practice that there was no candidate whose warrant she wouldn't sign.

War Practice was wonderful! Several friends told me I was easy to find. They just walked to the far end of the merchants area where all the jugglers were and there I was, playing with machetes and torches. I'll be fine, the bandages should be coming off about the time comments are due (Just kidding! J ) Kudos to Lady Julianna de Luna for running a truly excellent consult table at War Practice. I finally had a chance to return the reference book she left behind at Ice Dragon. The withdrawal symptoms ceased within minutes. J Be grateful this is a short letter. I saw all the submissions Julianna took at War Practice and the next letter of intent is going to be a whopper!

As always, you are welcome to comment on all or any part of this letter. Additional copies are available on the AEthelmearc College of Heralds website (http://www-cs.canisius.edu/~salley/heralds.html) E-mail is strongly encouraged. You can also hand them to me in person. I'm hoping to be at the BMDL Birthday Bash the first weekend of July. Send comments to: Lord Dagonell Collingwood, Garnet Herald, c/o David P. Salley, 5294 Webster Road, Fredonia NY 14063 or salley@klaatu.canisius.edu Due date is July 1, 2000 CE / AS XXXV

His submission before that, with the field gules, was returned in-Kingdom for conflict against Sebastian of Ventburr "Gules on a bend sinister Or, three wings palewise, each terminating in a hand brandishing a sword sable." His submission before that was completely different and returned at Laurel for conflict. Can someone please run conflict checks with various fields including azure, vert, counter-ermine and pean? He's the barony cook and I'm afraid I'll be getting bread and water at the next feast. :-) Did I mention the cooks' guild also had their badge returned?
