Letter of Intent #50
Brandubh O Donnghaile, Cour d'Or Pursuivant

I Brandubh O Donnghaile Cour d'Or pursuivant sent greetings to the Aethelmearc college of heralds with this Letter of Commentary.

1. Ailis ingen ui Donnuba/in

Ailis is an undated form in O'C&M.

Donnaban is the same.

I agree with the genitive form, btu i wonder where the U came from in Donnuba/in

Device, possible conflict with Fergus Mac Ruaidhri Ghlais 1991 (via Calontir): Argent, a fox courant to sinister gules between three trefoils vert.

2. Anton Ivan Stanslovich

Question, the name is headed Stans..., but the documentation is for Stas, then gave Staslovich. Which is correct Staslovich or Stanslovich?

3. Antonio de Luna

I already did my work on this one, the rest of you can tear it apart now.

4. Baraka bint Hasan al-Fahim

I am unsure, but does Islamic naming practice allow for patronymic and descriptive bynames? I can only recall names of geneology or description, none of both.

5. Briant Huntington

nothing to complain about.

6. Brigette de Sainte Mere Eglise

As drawn the barbs of the rose connect to the outer feild, if this is intentional it must be blazoned, if not I recommend that it be redrawn.

7. Brigitte MacFarlane the Red

If she wishes to be gaelic, then i recommend that she use the Brigitta found in O'C&M.

8. Constance Waite

I see nothing wrong in this one.

9. Cadell Blaidd du

It looks fine to me.

10. Cecily of Whitehaven

No problems here.

11. Cordelia Colton

12. Honore/e d'Avallon

This seems to have solved the problems of the last submission.

13. Ivo Thorne

The documentation seems in order.

14. Khazira bint Hakim

Looks good.

15. Klaus Von Isenfaust

It appears satisfactory.

16. Leonor Farfa/n

Good name, both elements from same source, and same time.

17. Mea the Bold

It looks clear.

18. Murdoch Bayne

Possible conflicts:

Catta of the Pyrfield in July of 1974:
Per fess, potenty gules and Or, and azure a leopard's head cabossed Or. If Lion's and Leopard's heads conflict.
Meridies, Kingdom of 1980 (via Meridies):
Vair ancient, a lion's head cabossed Or, orbed and langed gules.

19. Reynold Wolferton

Sounds alright.

20. Rosalinda of Castile

Sounds passable, however I prefer Rosalinda de Castilla.

21. Tarlach McLave

The first Argent needs to be removed from the blazon.

22. Tessa la Hunter

Looks good.

23. Wu:lfer von Drachenhand

It looks clear to me.

This ends my Letter of Comment, I hope it finds you well, and I await the next Letter.
