Groups names in period are not just a conjoining of two random terms, such as we see here. There was no documentation accompanying the submission to justify the formation, and we could find no period examples of placenames, order names, or any other non-personal names that are even remotely similar to this construction, and thus it is being returned for lack of periodicity.
5. Konon Pivovar – Name and device accepted
Per pale gules and sable, three hands argent.
6. Mountain Confederation – Badge change accepted
Per fess azure and Or, a catamount passant and a triple-peaked mountain issuant from base counterchanged.
7. Pavla Satu Marin – Name accepted
We are forwarding this name to Laurel in hopes that someone in the College has useful suggestions for formation of a good period locative surname. We have found some additional information about the city’s name in period, but as we really don’t know anything about Romanian naming practices, we are making no changes at this time.
