(Fieldless) A griffin couchant contourny wings inverted and addorsed argent.
Argent goutty, on a fess azure a bridge of two spans argent.
Precedent from the September 2000 LoAR (Aidan of Aran) supports registration of Aidan, as an Anglicized form of the Irish given name Áedán (as reiterated in the August 2001 LoAR). Thus, there should only be one weirdness for temporal incompatibility.
The blazon has been changed as suggested by commenters.
Per bend sinister azure and vert, two frogs sejeant Or.
This name is being returned for several different reasons:
The name was submitted as Étaìn. However, the documentation is all for the name Étaín, a difference of a single accent.
Submitted as Étaìn inghean Ruaidri, "Étaín" and "Ruaidrí" are pre-1200 Gaelic spellings whereas "inghean" is the post-1200 Gaelic form. The name would be acceptable either with all-pre-1200 spellings or all-post-1200 spellings.
The name was submitted with accents in "Étaín" but no accents in "Ruaidri." By longstanding precedent, accents in Gaelic names must be consistently used or consistently omitted.
Because the submitter allowed no changes, we were unable to correct the direction of the accented "i" in Étaín, to substitute "ingen" for "inghean," or to add accents to "Ruaidri," but instead must return the name. Without a name, the device must be returned as well, although the armory appears to be otherwise registerable
The given name has been changed as noted by commenters. The surname is being suggested as an alternate transliteration of the patronymic formed from Geirr Bassi.
Quarterly argent and sable, a Latin cross bottony throughout gules and overall a weasel statant erect contourny Or.
The device has been redrawn so that the weasel is (as much as possible) more accurately overall.
