 The forms use a documentable surname to achieve a somewhat fantasy-like placename.  I believe the Canton of Winters Edge used the same technique.

(http://www.sca.org/heraldry/coagloss.html)  -- Table 3 Conventional "Proper" Colorings, A peacock proper is Mostly blue and green with "eyes" in the tail.  The color drawing is either unfinished, or has far too much white for an argent background.  We recommend a blue body and green fan with blue eyes in the fan.
