1. Æthelmearc, Kingdom of – New order name Ordre du Cheval de Fer and new badge withdrawn from submission
(Fieldless) A horseshoe argent.
The submission for this order name has been withdrawn at the request of the current Royalty. As the badge may not be submitted without a name, the badge submission is also withdrawn.
2. Alric of the Mists – Resubmitted device accepted
Per bend sinister purpure and sable, a wyvern sejant within a bordure embattled Or.
Some commenters expressed concern
regarding the
posture of the wyvern, questioning whether it should be blazoned as
“sejant” or
“statant”. I would say that the posture is best described as “sejant”
(sitting)
as opposed to “statant”, which seems to be used for a creature with
“all four
paws on the ground” (Dictionary of Heraldy, Brockhampton Press, 1997,p.
61).
3. Chière une Clergesse – New name and device accepted
Argent, on a chevron cotised sable three crosses clechy argent.
4. Coed-du, Shire of – Resubmitted name and device accepted
Argent, a tree blasted and eradicated sable within a laurel wreath vert and on a chief sable three mullets argent.
Some commenters suggested that the correct Welsh spelling would include a hyphen. I have added the hyphen and passed the comments to Laurel.
