Their Royal Majesties gave leave to Their Excellencies Alonzio and Tatyana, Baron and Baroness of the Barony Marche of the Debatable Lands for the purpose of conducting Their last Court.
Their Royal Majesties called forth Baron Alonzio
and Baroness Tatyana, thanked them for Their service to the Kingdom and
people of BMDL, then divested Them of the Baronial Coronets.
Lady Fredeburg von Katzenellenbogen, Seneschal of the BMDL, was called before Their Majesties and she did present to them a petition, sealed and signed by the populous, requesting that Lord Thomas Byron of Haverford and Lady Ariella of Thornbury be invested as their new Baron and Baroness. Their Royal Majesties agreed that they were worthy gentles and did call them into court.
Lord Byron and Lady Ariella, being squires of Sir Maghus de Cnoic an Iora, asked that he release them from their prior oaths so that they might serve Their Majesties and their Barony unhindered. Sir Maghus did so and assured them that he would welcome them back at some future date if they so wished.
Their Royal Majesties then placed the Comet Coronets upon Their brows investing Byron and Ariella as the 6th Baron and Baroness of the Debatable Lands (scroll by Aerin Teine).
Alonzio of the Peacemakers and Tatyana the Kushka were recalled before Their Royal Majesties and in gratitude of their service were created Baron and Baroness of the Court.
Their Majesties gave leave to Their Excellencies Byron and Ariella, for the purpose of conducting Their First Court.

Their Royal Majesties called Duncan MacAngus of Skye before Them and with great praise for the chivalry and ferocity with which he had just fought, awarded him the Silver Alce (scroll by the Griffin's Keep Scriptorium, words by Malcolm MacEoghainn).

Baroness Margaret of the Erainn and Viscountess Moria, Ambassadors of Ealdomere, presented gifts to Their Royal Majesties in celebration of our Kingdom's 10 th anniversary.
Emissaries from the Marche of Gwyntarian in the Middle Kingdom, presented many wondrous gifts to Their Royal Majesties in gratitude for the service and example His Majesty set on a recent visit to their lands.
Baroness Teresa Gabriela de Montoya y Sevilla and her assistants distributed prizes to the children who had entered the AEthelmearc map coloring contest. Their Majesties also presented tokens to each participant.
Their Excellencies Baron Byron and Baroness Ariella of the Debatable Lands, presented a gift to Their Royal Majesties of Norse style carved bone combs.
Countess Caryl Olesdatter came before the Court to announce that the Shire of Courtlandslot had successfully completed all necessary tasks and come out of it's incipiency.
The Cookie Pimp of AEthelmearc, having re-emerged for the 10th Anniversary Event, thanked her customers for their cash donations and presented the proceeds to Their Royal Majesties and Their Royal Highnesses to bolster Their respective travel funds.
Lady Zoe Akropolitina announced the winners of the Youth Fighting Tournament held this day: Division 3 and Kingdom Youth Champion – Justinian; Division 2 finalist Quinn of Herontier; the prize for most chivalrous went to Wolfgang. They each received personal tokens from Their Royal Majesties.
Lady Fredeburg von Katzenellenbogen, Kingdom Arts and Sciences Champion announced the winner of the A & S Champion competition: Lady Juliana Delamare who had created a pair of silk tablet woven garters for a Norse man. (scroll by Hrefna in Heppna).
His Foolship Dagonell Collingwood, AEthelmearc Bardic Champion, crawled forward to announce that Their Royal Majesties had chosen not one, but two Bards to serve as Kingdom Champions: THL Brion Enkazi (scroll illum. By Ismay Ponde, words by Jehan de la Marche, calig. by Antionette de la Croix) and Master Michael Alewright (scroll to follow). His Majesty particularly thanked Dagonell for his past service and commanded that he may continue to entertain the populous whenever he wished.
Halddr Baldr Fintonson was Awarded Arms for his labors on the Thrown Weapons ranges and acting as Queen's Guard for Tessa (scroll by Anlaith ingen Trena, words by Valgardr Gunnarsonn).
Duncan MacAngus of Skye was Awarded Arms for his service as Marshal in Training to the Youth Fighters and for providing support and inspiration to his father at Crown Tournaments (scroll by the Griffin's Keep Scriptorium, words by Malcolm MacEoghainn).
Lord Brock of Riversedge was created a Companion of the Keystone for his work as Seneschal of his Shire and his unending service cleaning, carrying and organizing (scroll by Ruffina Sa'avedra)
Lady Lara Sukhadrev was created a Companion of the Sycamore for her beautiful scribal arts, research and generosity in hosting workshops for new scribes (scroll by Maria Catriona da Ravenia and Robert l'Etordi).
Ulf of Riversedge was made a Companion of the Sycamore for his re-creation of period Norse crafts from clothing to glass beads (large wooden chest carved with runic text by Stefan Ulfkellson).
Lady Cionaodh Gunn was made a Companion of the Golden Alce for her Archery skill, service as Marshal and for creating challenging ranges (scroll inspired by Loachlain Silverwolf, illum. Gwilym o'r Tair Afon, words Jocapo di Niccolo, calig. Antoinette de la Croix).
THL Hreffna in Heppna Thorgrimsdottir was inducted into the Order of the Millrind for her years of outstanding service to the Kingdom and Crown (illum by Aibell Suil-uaine, words Emrys Eustace "Broom", calig. Antoinette de la Croix).
Her Majestey retrieved Mistress Aleea Bagga from her seat nearby and brought her forth to receive a writ to sit vigil and contemplate elevation to the Order of the Pelican at a future date yet to be decided upon (poem composed by Karana Yabokchi).
TRM called for and addressed Mistress Amaryllis Coleman. Having received council from the Order of the Laurel, she affirmed that it was indeed her wish and honor to be admitted to their ranks. Their Royal Majesties knowing well her worth simply asked any present who had benefited from her skills and labors to please rise. There was such a crowd of people standing that the remaining populous could hardly been seen by Their Majesties. Thus it was that a scholars robe and cap were brought forth to clothe her, a medallion and wreath were presented to adorn her and TRM did create her a member of Their Most Nobel Order of the Laurel (words by Michael Alewright).
In celebration of AEthelmearc's 10th Anniversary as a Kingdom, the Royal Lineage was read from the first King and Queen, Ynvar and Caryl, to Our heirs, Duncan and Ilish.
TRM thanked the Autocrats, Sir Angus MacBain and Mistress Yvianne de Castel d'Avignon, and all those who made the event possible and so enjoyable.
